Rimmel Sweetie Crush Nail Polish Swatches & Review
How cute are these sugary candy inspired Rimmel Sweet Crush Textured Nail Polishes? And sweeter still is the $2.99 price tag on each small bottle!
Love or hate it textured polishes are a trending with no end in site. I actually liked textured polishes but I find they are a b1tch to remove but who can resist a collection from Rimmel that’s inspired by sugary candy treats?
I dare you to try!
Rimmel Sweetie Crush Nail Polish Swatches
The Rimmel Sweetie Crush Nail Polishes are quite tiny bottles weighting in at .27 oz a bottle so if you’re not a massive fan of textured polish you won’t feel too guilty indulging in a smaller size!
At first application these have a heaping doe of super glitter but at dry down I find the sparkle dulls a little and begins to look (and feel) like sugar on your nails. The set is a gritty, sandy finish with a 3D effect on nails as the texture gives your nails a raised look. At first application they are fairly sheer, layer two is a bit nicer, but at layer three you’ll get the best texture and opacity. I was surprised that the brush was so good on these as it is wider and flat so it swipes the polish onto nails easily! It was unexpected as the bottle is smaller so I expected a smaller, dinky brush. At three layers I find they wear very strong…! I got nearly five days out of shades without chipping. Who would even expected that from a $2.99 textured polish. Unfortunately they are a PITA to remove or at least I think so but the pretty pastels are worth the hassle!
