Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited

Sometimes I have to remind myself how much I adore Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited! And since they changed the applicator? It’s even better!

Ever tried Gloss Unlimited?

No?

You’re missing out!

Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited is available in sixteen shades with a what Shu calls a 3D shape memory gel technology. I translate shape memory gel as the fact that once applied this kinda reshapes itself and hugs around your lips! It’s an interesting effect as it’s very plush with a cushion-like texture to hugs lips in a four hour wear that doesn’t quite.

It’s such a rarity to run across a long wearing gloss that isn’t majorly sticky. This does have some tack but no major stickiness but I will say they kinda have a knack for transferring onto cups if you’re drinking and wearing a darker shade of the gloss. I think if you’re not terribly impressed with MAC Lipglass you’ll love Gloss Unlimited as it has the same staying powder but with a far nicer formulation that’s lighter in texture.

They have a great applicator with this as it’s a flexible larger sponge that allows you to apply a ton of product in a single swipe. Too many glosses have great formulas with rubbish sponge applicators (I’m talking to you Bobbi Brown!). This applicator fits the contour of my lips perfectly and applies plenty of product in a single go!

If you’re looking for less stickiness in your gloss and longer wear I’d highly recommend Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited.

Love this stuff.

It’s available now at www.shuuemura-usa.com.

Hmm, I usually don’t shell out the big bucks for glosses but I must admit, the whole 3D memory technology deal intrigues me. Is this REALLY a thing? I just may have to see for myself!

it sounds weird…it’s actually just a formula that conforms to your natural lips, kinda hugs them 😀
