Tarte Repromotes Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara And It’s Still Awesome!

What’s the best mascara every? If you said Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes you’d be right! And better still is Tarte repromoting it for Summer 2014 in a waterproof formula.

Ok, well, they always have Lights, Camera, Splashes hanging around but for Summer 2014 it does come in a limited edition packaging. And hey, if you never tried it here’s your chance to do so.

I’d like to make a note and tell Maureen please when you reintroduce this next Summer I’d like to see some LE packaging that’s NOT limited to the outer packaging girl! I’ll likely not toss this cute festive little box but I wouldn’t mind if the box packaging matched up with the mascara tube’s design too. Just sayin’!

I’ve actually stopped looking for my HG (holy grail) mascara because I’ve found it. Holy cow…shifty eyes…did I just say that?! No…the hunt is the fun part! I sometimes secretly hope I’ll NEVER find my HG products so I can continue to buy more makeup and try out new products. The hunt is the fun part. And the whining about how, “oh this is good but not HG material” is the second fun part haha!

No but seriously, aside from Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and It Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer I don’t really need anything else in my mascara loving life.

This is pretty basic mascara…regular old straight line brush, lightweight formula, doesn’t make my lashes terribly stiff or crunchy…! There’s really nothing amazing here but for some reason it WORKS and it WORKS well. It pulls my lashes up and out giving them GREAT length. Perhaps not a ton of volume but I’m not complaining because the length acts to give my lashes a fuller, longer look. Do like!

Now the regular formula works a treat for me but when Summer comes I switch it out for the Splashes formula to ensure it wears long and strong. I rarely have an issue with either the regular or Splash formula in regards to flaking, smudging, or smearing! Plus it removes easily at the end of a long hard day.

Loves this stuff.

It is and remains one of my favorite mascaras.
