Wen Spring Orange Blossom Cleansing Conditioner Review
You know cleansing conditioners at the drugstore might be a thing now but Wen Spring Orange Blossom Cleansing Conditioner makes me realize why I adore the brand so very much and can only WISH it was sold at the drugstore.
I recently got my bottle of Wen Spring Orange Blossom Cleansing Conditioner from a QVC auto delivery program I was on however, it is readily available in smaller sizes should you wish to try it. However, it is a limited edition run so in a few months time you might have a hard time locating it.
Boo! That’s the only thing I hate about Wen Seasonal scents! They disappear and I’m left hunting them down on Evil-bay!
Let’s take a look at Spring Orange Blossom!
I actually didn’t love the Wen Cranberry Mint Cleansing Conditioner. First off, I didn’t love the scent and second, it felt like it was a bit too thick and caused build up!
Not the case with the new Spring Orange Blossom blend! This is still thick, still creamy, but washes clean away for me and leaves my hair not only squeaky clean but also detangled and super soft. It does, of course, contain cones so clarifying weekly to remove any excess build up or even two weeks doesn’t hurt.
I think that sometimes the Winter seasonals are a bit thicker and that’s something I really don’t like as they cling to my hair and don’t wash out as easily! This is still very, very thick and creamy but it rinses clean away.
I actually felt very Lushie-like using it! If you’re familiar with the Gorilla Orange Blossom perfume that Lush created this is basically a spot on dupe of it. Or really any Lush Orange Blossom scented product smells just like this.
It’s not citrus mind you….! It has a slightly orange-y element but for the most part you get more of the orange floral element. It’s very fresh, very pretty, and very light so it’s not an overwhelming floral blend.
If you’ve never used Wen Cleansing Conditioner it’s a snap to use. Simply apply five large pumps into the palms of your hair (for longer hair) and work it gently through using your fingers or a long tooth combo. Work it through your hair and make sure to pay attention to the ends of your hair as well. This is, of course, done in the shower on wet hair. After I work it through I typically wash up, do whatever I need to do in the shower, and wait five or six minutes to allow it to sink into my hair. Now I rinse with lukewarm water. Done! It does not lather or foam but it does work to cleanse hair as well as condition it in one step!
If you’re a Wen fan I’d say Spring Orange Blossom is likely a must have. This is a lovely way to start off the Spring season! The scent has a lovely fresh linger and makes my hair super soft and tangle free!
Loves it!
