Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask Review & Swatches
Dry lips? Cracked? Flaky? You NEED the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask my friends.
I happen to be the girl that applies lip balms and such prior to heading to bed at night. I have drier lips in the winter, fairly normal in the Summer. But man when they are dry, they are DRY! Red, flaky, angry at the world, etc…It’s not a fun experience.
I love lip scrubs and the like so when I saw Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask for the first time I was all, “Cool, a lip mask!” not really understanding what it meant. I kinda assumed it was something you’d apply and wash off.
Not the case!
I’ll start off by saying that Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask isn’t for everyone. Heck I’m surprised I like it because I dislike Jack Black Lip Balm, it’s just too thick for me!
This is SUPER thick. Thicker than petroleum jelly (it doesn’t contain petroleum)! It doesn’t melt down so it does remain fairly thick on lips but comfortable. It’s highly moisturizer and contains an active blend of agave nectar as well as jojoba oil, with a hint of vanilla extract for flavor and fragrance.
It actually reminds me of an ointment of sorts. At first application I instantly knew it would do my lips plenty good! I think the name is slightly misleading as one might assume it’s a scrub or maybe you wear it and wipe it off. It’s actually a leave on lip mask so really you might call it a lip balm or lip treatment of sorts. It does act as a mask though since as you wear it, it’ll provide hydration and acts to soften your lips so if you apply it night you’ll wake up with SUPER smooth lips!
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask Swatches
It seems like the perfect addition to an anti-aging arsenal as it’ll keep your lips very soft, very smooth, and very hydrated therefore preventing lines in the future.
If you have issues with drier lips, redness, constant chapped lips, flakiness, etc…I’d say give Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask a go. You have to be willing to contend with a thick formula but it is worth the effort as this is a deliciously moisturizing treat for lips!
