Laura Geller Seamless Finish Cream Concealer Stick Review & Swatches
Yay for new concealer! Laura Geller Seamless Finish Cream Concealer Stick is a newly launched stick concealer available in three shades that recently popped up on QVC.
Of course, as soon as it became available on was on it like white on rice!
When I see stick concealer I instantly start thinking that I’m going to find some sort of cheap dupe of Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer. Logically I know I’ll never find a dupe but my silly makeup side always gets giddy at the chance it might happen. Kinda like winning the lotto, it’s not going to happen but one can hope. Funny as I think think it’s over hyped but I still kinda dig the coverage and consistency of it none the less!
Laura Geller Seamless Finish Cream Concealer Stick unfortunately not the dupe I was hoping for but it is nice, lightweight coverage. I grabbed it up in Medium but I find the shade ran a little too yellow. Some folks love yellow since it diffuses the look of dark circles. Personally I dislike yellow concealers as they don’t work very well for me so that was strike 1 against this product.
This nice part is it has a very creamy texture with a smooth, easy glide under eyes. It’s a beautifully textured concealer that applies flawlessly, blends easily, and doesn’t crease into my finer eyes. They call it a matte finish but I felt it was more satin and quite hydrating under my drier eyes. It does exactly what it promises which is provide natural looking coverage. Unfortunately strike 2 against it would be the fact it sheers out considerably no matter how much you apply. This is great if I’m working on eight hours of sleep but typically I am not so I need considerable more coverage than this provides as my dark circles peek out at me after application.

The nice thing is it does provide natural, comfortable, weightless coverage which makes it ideal for days you aren’t doing a full makeup look but require a bit of coverage under your eyes to brighten things up. I think it’ll disappoint in terms of pigment but if you don’t have a lot to cover, well, in that case it’s just perfect!
