Les Merveilleuses de Laduree 2014 Summer Collection

Les Merveilleuses de Laduree 2014 Summer

Le swoon! The Les Merveilleuses de Laduree 2014 Summer Collection has arrived in Japan! Anyone want to hitchhike to Tokyo with me and head to Mitsukoshi for a purchase? I can get Laduree macarons a plenty here in New York but Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Makeup not as easily.

Sadness!

Let’s take a look!

The collection actually features several new skincare products but I wanted to concentrate on the two color releases. One being the Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Face and Eye Color! How adorable is this (and impractical whispers that little angel on my shoulder!). Created in a seashell motif you can swirl a brush into the colors to add a refreshing highlight of color to cheeks and face! Or take an eyeshadow brush and swirl it into individual shades to use as eyeshadow. Darling yes, impractical completely eh especially at these prices (5250)!

Also releasing is Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Summer Tinted Lip Balm in three shades of bright pink, orange, and blue! The formula is supposed to be lightweight with translucent color!

I am terribly tempted by the Face and Eye Color but the price is terribly costly for something I’ll merely display but won’t use! And let’s face it my beauty vault is filled to the rim at the moment! I do not need to add more rare makeup into it.

What do you think of the collection?

It is available on certain online shops but unfortunately Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Makeup is not sold in the US.

You can, of course, drool all over it on their beautiful website at www.lm-laduree.com.

Have fun browsing!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. They sell this brand at Sephora in France Muse ! I’m hoping to pick something up when I’m there this summer 😉

    • Isabella Muse

they do!? I was in Paris, last year but didn’t see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which Sephora?!

      • Laura H.

Apparently they sell them at all the larger Sephora stores in France now, they also sell them on the sephora.fr website. It might be a new thing, too bad you missed out 🙁

Can you get Laduree macarons? I never feel like waiting in line. There are so many macaron shops in the city. Speaking of the city, would you ever do a meet-up, Muse?

    • Isabella Muse

weekdays, early is the best time but sure there are hundreds and hundreds of places to get them in the city, Hmart even has a Tous Les Jours right inside stores or A Tous Les Jours bakery in flushing that you can grab macarons from and a red bean cream bread all in one stop 🙂 It isn’t Laduree but there are options in this little city! I’ve never done a meet up with a group of readers but have met individual readers as well as other bloggers like Christine (temptalia) etc… some of my readers live fairly close so I’ve had dinner/shopping dates with them but never did a group meet up!

Mille-Feuille, Bisous Ciao, and Bosie Tea Parlor are the best I’ve tried in the city so far. There are have been plenty of duds, though. They’re best forgotten.

Aw. I would love to meet up with you one day. I promise I’m not a murderer or a stalker. That’s something a murderer or stalker would say, isn’t it? Rats! 😉

Um YES let’s go to Japan right now! We should go fill up on tasty treats at Vie de France first, though. Then – train to Shibuya! 😀

So pretty! So unnecessary, but so pretty! I recently gave my mom a blush I wasn’t using even though it was perfectly nice, and when she asked why, I said, “well, it’s just not pretty….” meaning the packaging, not the product…I am a sucker for pretty makeup!

Le swoon indeed! I’m going to Japan later this month and it will take all of my willpower not to blow all of my hard earned cash on cosmetics and skincare, even though the dollar is so strong against the yen right now! As for meet-ups, you should totally do one, Muse! I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ms. Paris of MWS here in Malaysia. Not only did we have a great conversation but I have to say I was a bit starstruck at getting to talk with her in person! I’m sure all of your NY-area readers out there would love to hang with the one and only Muse. 🙂

  • Christina

These are just too pretty, especially the face powder. I probably would never want to ruin the seashells. LOL!

  • Asma

Is there any way to order these new products online? Please let me know!

  • kuro

Sigh, that’s crazy unfair! I wish Japanese brands would make their way over to North America ;-; Too cute too awesome!

  • Yumi

    Hey Muse!
Hate to rain on the parade, but I’d advise people to refrain from buying the face & eye color :(.
Those shells & stars are hollow…so paper thin, I fear they’ll break if you put pressure on them!
The lip balms smell sweet (vanilla?), and are lightly hydrating. They are virtually clear (same goes for the majority of the latest ones from Addiction too). Though they do some cute ltd products, I would highly advise people to do their research before paying so much $$ in order to avoid buyer’s remorse!

    • Isabella Muse

oh no! that’s awful thanks Yumi you totally saved me money!!!!!!
