So you love SPF tinted lip balms? Might I direct you over to the new Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick which not only has an SPF 15 but also adds color to lips but also moisturizes and treats them with an anti-aging serum that targets finer lines.

Sound good?

Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick

Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick is part of the new Perricone MD No Makeup Skincare Collection that launched for Summer 2014. I dunno about you but the warm weather hits and I’m all about being a minimalist. Who wants to wear a ton of makeup in the heat? Plus Summer is all about lighter, fresher, more natural makeup right?

So really Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick couldn’t come at a better time. This lipstick or lip balm if you may comes housed in a heavy, smoky gunmetal twist to open tube which is quite elegant.

I think lipstick is probably not quite accurate for this formula but No Lipstick Lipstick sounds a lot better than No Lip Balm Lip Balm doesn’t it? This is a very balm-y tinted lip treatment with a highly moisturizing formula and a natural rosy color. Don’t panic, I promise, the color is universally flattering and not “the perfect shade of pink” so many brands promise that turn fuchsia or bubble gum pink. It’s a pretty shade of tinted rose that looks very, very close to my own natural lip color. This has a nice sheen to it as well so it looks quite glossy on lips. It does have a vanilla flavor and fragrance so just a warning for those sensitive you might want to do a little sniff taste in store prior to purchase!

It’s the type of balm that you can feel the benefits of well after its worn away. It wears on me for about three hours and leaves my lips pleasantly moist during that wear but it also leaves them very soft and smooth well after it has worn away. I have drier, flakier lips and after a week of use my lips look so much smoother and feel quite a good deal softer too!

I don’t actually have finely lined lips but apparently it contains neuropeptides and a serum which treats lip lines as you wear it!

In the future I just might need to treat pesky lip lines but as of now Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick gives me everything I want in a lip balm like natural color, SPF protection, moisture, and the benefit of softer lips the more I wear it.

    Hi Muse!
Question – would you say you’d prefer this to something like Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Balm? (I ask because I am about to run out of Fresh Sugar Rose, and am wondering if I should give Perricone a try instead).

    Thanks in advance!

    • Isabella Muse

yes most definitely yes. don’t get me wrong I love Fresh Sugar Rose but I like this subtly of this, it just looks like my natural lip tone but better where as Fresh Sugar Rose you can obviously tell you’re wearing tinted balm! Hope this helps!

My pleasure Cheryl! 🙂 I’m glad it helped! There are some of my fav makeup items. I was hoping this Spring they would introduce some new stuff! If you try them do let me know how they work out for you!

Is there a knack to open the tube of the Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick? It appears to have a shrink-wrap plastic around the tube yet it can’t be peeled. I just got this product & want to try it

Thanks. Have you considered adding info on whether products are cruelty free? Perricone thankfully is. I’m an animal lover and that’s becoming increasingly relevant. Also some people take it one step beyond and want to know if a product is clean or vegan. Keep up the good work and stay safe!
