Stila Evangeline Color Balm Lipstick is that perfect shade of dusky rose that quite reminds me of my all time favorite shade of MLBB (my lips but butter) lipstick. Betcha know the shade I’m preaching about? Lipstick Jean Queen!
Of course, it isn’t an exact dupe but I tend to adore dusky shades of rose as they are quite nice MLBB shades for me.
Take a peek see what I’m raving about.
Hope you’re not tired of all the Stila Color Balm Lipstick reviews lately! I’m just really loving this formula and I got them at such a killer deal during Stila’s Mother’s Day Sale! As I mentioned in a previous post select shades are also $12 bucks each (thanks to a reader for sharing this info at Ulta.com.

Stila Evangeline Color Balm Lipstick is a perfect shade of dusky rose for my skin tone. It actually should be fairly universally flattering in my humblest! It’s just one of those shades that will work for everyone.
This is a highly pigmented shade as are all the Color Balm Lipsticks I’ve had the pleasure of trying. It’s creamy yet balmy and has a pleasant peppermint flavor and fragrance. I’d liken the formula to Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter if you want a budget option but I think Stila tops them in terms of pigment every so slightly (not by much!). The hybrid formula has the color of the lipstick but a moisturizing texture of a lip balm. The finish has a slight sheen that gives it a nice glossiness and wears for a solid four hours without migrating on my lips while keeping them pleasantly hydrated.
I feel like I say it about every shade I try but Evangeline is simply gorgeous!
