Take a look!
The Wet n Wild Photo Bomb To Reflect Shimmer Palette ($6.99) actually comes packaged with a large kabuki brush now. I believe originally the palettes were $4.99 but recently Wet n Wild started packaging them with a kabuki and raisesde price slightly. I’d like to say I prefer the $4.99 price and I can do without the kabuki brush. The brush sheds, has super scratchy bristles, and is just poorly made in my opinion. So, leave the brush out, and keep the price at $5 in my opinion!

I think Photo Bomb is different from what we’ve seen in the To Reflect Shimmer Palette range. Many of the colors have been able to double up as blush for me but Photo Bomb is a highlighter shade. Or really, when I think of it, the palette is more of an all over shimmer shade. This doesn’t add any color but does add a good deal of golden shimmer to your face. It isn’t a chunky glitter but more of a refined sparkle. You can double up with this and use it as an eyeshadow as well or dust your shoulders, arms, and body with it using a bigger brush to add a hint of sparkle to these areas. The shade is a buttery gold color which means it works nicely as a shadow in my opinion!

I do think Photo Bomb is slightly disappointing when comparing it to past shades. Some of the shades were real keepers but this lacks the complexity of some of those as it’s kinda straight up shimmer. It does add a nice golden shimmer but I find it’s a bit too much shimmer for my face at times so you really have the buff it well and truly away to avoid a disco ball finish.
At one time in my beauty life this is a product I’d simply adore. But I think I’ve grown up a bit and can admit that maybe Photo Bomb is a bit too much shimmer in one palette to actually be practical for anything but body use! It’s very nice, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the texture, it’s just a bit too much shimmer for my liking! If you use shimmery highlighters often especially bold ones you might enjoy this.
It’s available now at Walgreens.
