Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream Review & Swatches
Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream is a new CC Cream that promises to fade the appearance of dark spots over time with icorice, vitamin C, and color correcting pigments and pearl.
According to Avon the formula also improves the look of dullness and evens out skin tone with light to medium coverage.
Take a look!
Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream is available in five shades and I selected the light medium. Apparently the colors run really, really light because the Light Medium shade looks like it’s Fair to me! It’s super light, I think Medium would have been a better option for me but the finish is so sheer it was thankfully not pasty.
If you’ve tried Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream don’t worry about doubling up on a similar formula because unlike Clinique’s BB and CC Cream which have the same texture and finish, Avon CC Color Corrector Cream is vastly different than the original BB Cream formula. I admire Avon for releasing a CC Cream that’s different than its BB one. I see too many brands release a BB Cream and proceed to release a CC Cream that seems exactly the same thing! So I appreciate the differences in the formula.
Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream Swatches (Light Medium)
This formula is runny with a thin consistency that absorbs easily into skin and has a very natural, soft and slightly dewy finish! Avon over markets it slightly as this is NOT medium coverage nor can it be built to a heavier coverage. It’s very, very sheer. That’s fine by me because I enjoy sheerer coverage anyway but if you have a lot you want to conceal this won’t do the job. It evens out my skin tone and eases dullness slightly so I do think a little more pigment would have been welcome. It wears a shorter time if you don’t set with powder so you’ll see fading at around three hours so be sure to set it. I wouldn’t say it corrects very much since it does have a sheerer finish. I haven’t used it long enough so I can’t speak for it treating my dark spots.
Overall, I have to admit if you want lighter coverage with a touch of color to even out skin tone and brighten you might want to go with NYC New York Color Cosmetics Smooth Skin BB Creme as it’s not only cheaper than Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream but considerably nice in finish as it has a touch more coverage! This one disappointed me slightly! It’s just a touch too sheer and didn’t quite give me the dullness power I need!
It’s available now from Avon.
