Black Radiance Illusions Lipgloss Review & Swatches
I’ve been having some great success with Black Radiance Lipglosses recently so I snatched up a Black Radiance Illusions Lipgloss ($2.99) recently in the hopes my winning streak would keep up!
Black Radiance Illusions Lipgloss captures light like a prism and gives lips a 3D look that’s full of shine and shimmer.
Sounds interesting right?
In the tube the colors all have a certain opalescent look which gives them a very appealing look! This is a thinner textured gloss with a nice shiny finish but a sheerer color pay off and no fragrance or flavor. It really does give the illusion of a fuller lip look but I think the sheerness of the gloss does disappoint. I tried the shade Rose Desire which is a gorgeous coppery red in the tube but applies with a hint of warm peach tint to my lips. The prism effect does work somewhat so lips look almost fuller upon application but a little more color would go a long way for me!

The wear is very comfortable and feels hydrating without being sticky or tacky however, it is a short wear at around an hour to ninety minutes of wear before it needs to be reapplied!
So far one of the main perks of the Black Radiance Makeup Collection was the pigment and sadly Illusions Lipgloss doesn’t deliver in that department. If you like a sheerer gloss you might just love this formula however, the shorter wear and lack of pigment did disappoint me a little bit.
