Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer Review
Far be it for me to rave a silicone primer but I really love Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer at the moment! At first I thought perhaps it was a solid facial primer like Mally Beauty Poreless Face Defender or the new Covergirl Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier but it’s kinda in a class all its own.
Take a look!
The Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer comes in a rather smallish pot that’s about the size of a MAC Eyeshadow. It weights in at 0.24 oz in size and I feel like I can use it all up quite quickly! At a glance it appears solid in nature but when you press on it it feels squishy and sponge-y! It resembles more of regular silicone primer than a solid one but does have kinda of a unique formula as most primers come in a pump bottle or in a squeeze tube. The fact it comes in a pot gives it more of a solid form which makes it rather novel. Although I imagine many who dislike using their fingers to apply product won’t love this packaging, understandable due to germs and bacteria.
The primer has a light floral scent but it’s very subtle. You can use it over or under foundation to prime with. It is a thicker silicone texture so it has a powdery matte dry down that leaves silky very velvety. It doesn’t pill during the application and really does an excellent job of concealing visible pores (I have visible pores on my nose and they disappeared after a single layer) and even smoothing under eyes if you have finer lines that need filling! It gave both my face and under my eyes a very smooth finish and created a good solid base for my foundation and bb cream to adhere to thus preventing it from fading or oxidizing too quickly!
Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer
Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer is definitely a nifty way to apply primer. I don’t typically like silicone primers as I prefer something more hydrating. But this actually worked great for me and really created a very smooth, airbrushed finish on my face! It actually looked better than other silicone primer I’ve used in the past and was quite comfortable without breaking me out (something I’ve been known too do with silicone primers).
If you have larger visible pores, fine lines under your eyes or on your face, or just need a smoother working area for makeup I’d recommend checking out Bourjois Paris Flower Perfection Transculent Smoothing Primer!
Nice stuff!
