It Cosmetics Liner Love Waterproof Creme Gel Eye Liner

It Cosmetics Liner Love Waterproof Creme Gel Eyeliner recently launched their new gel eyeliner formula in several shades which also happens to include a lash enhancing peptide serum to nourish and treat lashes with each application.

I’m not sure about the serum portion of the new pot gel eyeliner but I just loved the idea that It Cosmetics finally launched a gel eyeliner formula!

Let’s take a look!

It Cosmetics Liner Love Waterproof Creme Gel Eyeliner

It Cosmetics houses these gel liners in a glass pot with a screw top lid. I’ve used them over a month now and they haven’t dried out and still have the same creamy gel consistency they had out of the box.

Oh if you have oily lids you will adore It Cosmetics Liner Love Waterproof Creme Gel Eyeliner! This creamy gel formula is on par with Bobbi Brown and MAC’s formula! It applies so easily with no tugging and a beautiful creamy, gel texture. It Cosmetics actually released a new brush to use with these that I’ll be reviewing shortly with you. The liners have excellent pigment particularly the black which has rich color pay off. The shades all have a certain glossy finish once they set.

They do take a few seconds to set but once they do wow they are budge proof! The set to a super finish and do not flake or smudge under my eyes for a solid 12 hours. I did a concert with the Black shade and it wore straight through without fading! I’m seeing Queensrÿche this weekend and you can count this as my go too eyeliner. It seems like an excellent pick if you have oily lids and it wears like a champ!

The formula also happens to have lash enhancing peptides as well as collagen to nourish lashes as well but I can’t speak for how this is working as I haven’t used that long. It does remove easily with an oil based eye makeup remover.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Love Queensryche! So jealous! Hope they still sound great. Saw the new liner brush and chant wait for the review.

I recently saw Queensryche at the M3 festival in MD with the new guy about a month ago and they sound awesome! They rocked out to the classics while adding a couple of new songs to the mix.

geoff is my one true love 🙂 but I saw Todd back in 2013 with them and it was fairly good!

I got Liner Love in “Graphite” today, and so far I am VERY impressed.
I am the not-so-proud owner of the World’s Greasiest Eyelids, and even products touted as “long wear” typically just about dissolve on contact with my skin, even with primer.
NOT Liner Love – I applied Graphite about six hours ago, to UNPRIMED lids, took a nap, and when I got up, my eyeliner looked like I’d just put it on. That is revelation caliber for me. I used MAC and Bobbi Brown gel liners, back in Estee Lauder’s cruelty-free days, and Liner Love leaves them in the dust, in terms of pigmentation, smooth consistency, staying power, and ease of application.
Graphite is matte, which I love, and is so dark it can serve as black.
I’m *definitely* getting Rich Plum (I have green eyes), and a dark brown isn’t out of the question, either.

I apologize if this posts twice! The taupe and navy have my name on them. I must try these!

    • Isabella Muse

oh no worries I didn’t see your other comment dee so I think you’re good 😀

  • Deb

Muse, you rock! I love that you love a band as old as Queensryche! That is so cool. I’m a Journey girl….from the old days. Steve Perry, my dream man!

    • Isabella Muse

haha thanks Deb! 😀 I’m a SUPER hardcore classic rock girl. The Eagles, Journey, Floyd, Journey (of course Steve Perry haha), etc…etc….I’m seeing Kiss in August, floor tickets, you can’t even understand my level of excitement! It isn’t the first time I’ve seen them but it’s been a few years and god just…WOW ;-D I’m so hyped!

Maybe I got a bad batch? When I bought the black liner love, it took multiple passes across my lash line for me to get any sort of intensity, and the black I had was more of a grey-ish black then a true black – it was truly a bummer. Your reviews are always spot on, so maybe I should try again?

    Arg, decisions, decisions!

    • Isabella Muse

oh gosh no it was quite perfect first try! did it arrive in extreme heat or did you have it in a warmer area maybe!? The gray isn’t really my color of choice for eyeliner but a single pass was nice a smooth, not melty or streaky! maybe stick it in the fridge for a minute to harden it up? 😀 I’m sorry to hear it melissa 🙁 hopefully it’ll work out!

    • Carla N.

Melissa, you may have gotten a “dud,” because I ended up getting the black one, and mine is black, black, BLACK, and looks that way in a single swipe.
In fact, it looks so intense that I apply it *under* my [powder] eyeshadow to keep it from looking too harsh on my NW15 skin.

Ooooooo…. silk taupe is pretty (they ALL are, actually) but a taupe eyeliner is unusual, and it’s dark enough that it would actually show up! 😀 Oh, it’s online at least on Ulta.com too! Hmmmm.. .Will have to keep an eye out for one of those 20% off anything coupons from Ulta!! 😀 Thanks for the review and swatches – Gotta have the taupe one fershure!!

    • Carla N.

When I first saw these liners, I thought Silk was one I *wouldn’t* want – not because I don’t love taupes, but because I didn’t think it would be dark or matte enough to make a satisfying liner.
But after witnessing the invincible way that Graphite and Rich Plum wear on me, I’m seriously considering buying Silk, to use as a “bullet-proof” cream shadow.
I typically don’t care for shimmery shadows, but this one looks like it might be pretty subtle.

  • zFashionizta

The navy one looks great, I am probably going to pick it up on my next trip to Ulta (finally got one near me, yay!).

  • Nicole

I just ordered the Navy with the brush last night! Who would have ever thought I would get into eyeliner?! 😮 All the sudden it comes along and just like that I realized eyeliner has come a LONG WAY since the early 90’s! 😀
By the way Isabella, I know what is included in the March IT Cosmetics TSV, do you have any info on prices or easy pay yet? Also I would really like a better description of the Pretty In Spring Eyeshadow Trio, like the names of the colors and what ones have luminous finishes and what ones are matte. I also would like to hear someone’s impression of the CC+ Cream Illumination SPF 50+ infused with Drops of Light technology. If you have any information you can share I know I would be grateful! 💐

    • Isabella Muse

Sorry Nicole! I don’t have any details yet about the March TSV! But hope to shortly!!!!!!!

    • Carla N.

I have the CC Cream, and while I like it, I’m not tempted to erect a shrine to it the way I am with Liner Love.
But I have *extremely* oily skin; people with normal or dryish skin would probably do better with it than I.
It does go on smoothly and cover well – I have decent skin, so I can usually skip concealer when I wear this product.
My main complaints are the shade selection (I’m NW15, and got the lightest shade, which I believe is “Fair;” it’s pale enough but has a very slight grayish cast that really isn’t noticeable once on the skin), and the fact that the product tends to “break down” some after a few hours on my very oily skin, and doesn’t look as smooth and natural as I’d prefer.
BUT my skin is weird. If you can try this out before you buy it, I’d say give it a shot!
