Concealing on the Cheap with LA Girl Pro Conceal

LA Girl Pro Concealer

I haven’t tried it myself but LA Girl Pro Conceal Concealer ($2.99) is making the rounds on the Internet lately and getting some fairly good reviews.

Available in 18 shades, LA Girl Pro Conceal promises crease-resistant, opaque coverage with a creamy formula that wears long and strong. The pigmented formula promises to conceal dark circles, minimize the appearance of fine lines, correct redness, and other skin perfections with natural covering!

Count me curious as $2.99 a bottle for a concealer that’s pigment with a creamy formula is very appealing to my beauty budget appetite.

It kinda looks like Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer to me!

Anyone try it?

It’s available now at drugstore.com.

Review upcoming!

I’ve tried many, many concealers. The LA Girl one is all I use now. In fact, it’s all I’ve been using for the past 3 years, since I’ve discovered it.

I ordered a few tubes of these several months ago and I like the formula but the color range ran too orange for my skin tone. I ordered the three lightest colors and unfortunately they all ended up being too dark. Given that I wasn’t given the chance to wear them for a long period of time I can’t speak to the lasting power of the product but it is a super creamy and pigmented concealer. I felt it was more user friendly and bendable than glamoflauge but seemed more likely to crease or fade. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

hmm I ordered the lightest shades too sarah (haven’t gotten them yet) so hopefully they aren’t too orange for me 🙁 that stinks! Orange is great at diffusing dark circles but on my skin tone it ends up making me look tired 🙁

It was okay but based on the raves it gets I wasn’t all that impressed. The coverage and consistency reminded me a lot Rimmel’s Match Perfection concealer. It’s a thinner, lighter cream consistency with up to medium coverage so it didn’t fully conceal my dark circles. It’s nice but I much prefer It Cosmetics’ Bye Bye Under Eye.

hm curious if I’ll like. I liked perfect match but it was quite sheer!

Drat, just placed my order for Loreals visible lift blur concealer and foundation. Have you used L.A. Girl products before? Couldn’t find any reviews. We don’t have a store around here that carries this brand. Looking forward to the review!

It’s a great concealer that does a better job then my high end concealers. Also it’s a great price and I can pick it up from my local beauty store.

They always get rave reviews everywhere I looked so I purchased a few shades last year. Sadly they didn’t work out for me, a bit too thick and really heavy coverage. I can see how they’d be great for some heavy concealing though.

They do run a bit dark, but the lightest worked for me and I am about nc15 to 20. I like them so far. You can also order from Walgreens.com as I did. Not as thick as H.C. Glamouflage.
