L’Oreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Review & Swatches
LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is one of two new primers that L’Oreal has introduced to act as color correctors for lackluster, tired skin or redness.
The LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is an extension product to the original L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream that launches back in 2012 with a similar formula and color bursting pigments that transform into a universal shade suitable for all skin tones.
Let’s take a look!
I think LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream can be slightly misleading as this is in no way a BB Cream. If anything at all it’s more of a color correcting primer! It offers no coverage and will not replace foundation or BB Cream in my opinion! Even those seeking sheerer coverage won’t find this acts as such.
This comes in a 1 oz squeeze tube same as the original Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream with the same formula, consistency, and color bursting pigments. It’s a runny liquid creamy that’s a pale peach at first with tiny brown dots of pigment that burst as you blend the product out. Like many L’Oreal BB Cream related products it’s a bit too orange for my tastes. As in oompa loompa orange!
It absorbs easily into my skin and applies with a simple brush of my fingers. Although liquid-y the texture of the product is in no way unpleasant. I personally have a duller, lackluster finish to my skin because I suffer from drier skin so I’m always looking for products to brighten up my complexion and ease that tired look. Unfortunately the orange cast this gives my skin ends up making me look more tired. On the right skin tone it’ll add some warmth which in turn might translate as a less tired or “anti-fatigued” look but on my own medium fair skin it just adds exhaustion!

There also happens to be a lilac version of this available in the UK which actually addressed dullness versus tiredness. I do wonder if that might be a more suitable option for my skin versus this Anti-Fatigue formula. Unfortunately that formula hasn’t launched in the US as of yet.
Overall, LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream starts life out misleading the user with “bb cream” in the title and all else goes down hill after…! Who knows it might work well for the right skin type but the promise of a universal shade that works for many skin tones isn’t working for this girl!
LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is launching now at drugstores for Fall 2014.
