L’Oreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Review & Swatches

LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Crean

LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is one of two new primers that L’Oreal has introduced to act as color correctors for lackluster, tired skin or redness.

The LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is an extension product to the original L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream that launches back in 2012 with a similar formula and color bursting pigments that transform into a universal shade suitable for all skin tones.

Let’s take a look!

I think LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream can be slightly misleading as this is in no way a BB Cream. If anything at all it’s more of a color correcting primer! It offers no coverage and will not replace foundation or BB Cream in my opinion! Even those seeking sheerer coverage won’t find this acts as such.

This comes in a 1 oz squeeze tube same as the original Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream with the same formula, consistency, and color bursting pigments. It’s a runny liquid creamy that’s a pale peach at first with tiny brown dots of pigment that burst as you blend the product out. Like many L’Oreal BB Cream related products it’s a bit too orange for my tastes. As in oompa loompa orange!

It absorbs easily into my skin and applies with a simple brush of my fingers. Although liquid-y the texture of the product is in no way unpleasant. I personally have a duller, lackluster finish to my skin because I suffer from drier skin so I’m always looking for products to brighten up my complexion and ease that tired look. Unfortunately the orange cast this gives my skin ends up making me look more tired. On the right skin tone it’ll add some warmth which in turn might translate as a less tired or “anti-fatigued” look but on my own medium fair skin it just adds exhaustion!

There also happens to be a lilac version of this available in the UK which actually addressed dullness versus tiredness. I do wonder if that might be a more suitable option for my skin versus this Anti-Fatigue formula. Unfortunately that formula hasn’t launched in the US as of yet.

Overall, LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream starts life out misleading the user with “bb cream” in the title and all else goes down hill after…! Who knows it might work well for the right skin type but the promise of a universal shade that works for many skin tones isn’t working for this girl!

LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is launching now at drugstores for Fall 2014.

Aww FAIL >< I was hoping this would turn out to be good and maybe attempt to replace my clarins beauty flash balm with a cheaper alternative 🙁

ooh that looks similar to the british anti-fatigue CC! which is great for nc 30-35. it helps banish tiredness, tired undereyes for me. i also like to mix it with a slightly light foundation! i have backups for the british CC version 😀 but it’s definitely not for all skintones… sigh.

Ugh. L’Oreal’s rapidly expanding line of BB and CC primers and base products and whatnot leaves me feeling confused. And when I feel overwhelmed, I move on!

Love it! Great replacement for Smashbox color correcting primer

I bought this today and OMG it’s the worst product ever it is ORANGE! Looks like I used REALLY BAD SELF TANNER. I may have well thrown a ten dollar bill in the garbage. Just awful.

I bought this, put it on and ran out the door. I was so embarrassed later when I looked closer and realized how ORANGE it was. So disappointing. Will go back to the Youth Code a little heavy but much better color!

I am so glad I found this review. I used this product for the first time today. I love their older bb cream and was hoping for something similar. The anti fatigue reeled me in, as I have a one year old. Lol. I was suprised at how ORANGE it was! I thought that by putting some lighter loose powder over the top would help but no way. I’m glad I did some research because I am about to go to dinner withmy mother in law!

Disappointed 🙁 I was so excited as this would have been the first BB cream I’d use. But this ORANGE stuff has just ruined my mood. Such a waste.

I am a natural head which means that I have very fair skin and I had high hopes for this product but the L Oreal Anti-Fatigue
