L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation Review & Swatches

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation is one of two new L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur products launching for Fall 2014 at drugstores. This new foundation has an opti-blur technology and honestly, whatever is they are doing with this formula they are doing it right (as well as with the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer’s formula which I LOVED!) because indeed it creates the illusion of flawless skin!

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation is likely going to be a formula drier skin adores. This is a soft creamy textured foundation with a gel-like consistency. I think the “Blur” portion in the title scared me slightly as I thought it might be more of a silicone-like texture but it’s actually beautifully hydrating with a soft, easy to blend formulation.

I don’t blame to know the science or magic behind L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation but after the initial application skin just looks smoother and more perfect. It really creates a beautiful flawless finish on skin. It does run sheerer but it can be built easily and will even out skin tone, conceal redness or darkness, and just create and overall flawless look on skin. It doesn’t adhere to my drier areas nor does it create shine or oil and dries down to a soft, even finish that’s lightly hydrating. It does need to be set with powder as I find it fades quickly without! I can get about four hours of wear without powder and about six with.

I love texture of this, the wear, and the look. Well particularly I like the look. I don’t have redness, blemish prone skin, etc…I do however have drier skin and dullness. This brightens up my entire face and creates a very soft, even look. It’s natural and second-skin looking without accentuating drier areas.

I’m not sure how oily skin will like this! It might be a better pick for such a skin type come the Winter. Personally I loved it! It’s a great lightweight foundation product with fairly great coverage for those already have good skin but want it to look even better.

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation is a win for me!

Loves it!

This looks like something I will really enjoy! Im more excited about the concealer. Ofcourse it will be a few weeks more before we see this up here in Canada, but I might try to hunt these down when I’m in NY next week! Also Muse..I’ve been reading your blog for ages now. Love it:)

aw thanks Dee <3! so glad you enjoy Musings. Hope this arrives soon in Canada!

I need this… looks like it’ll be a nice pick up to get myself off the expensive Dr.Jart+ i love….

  • kellly

I’m waiting for this to show up in my area. I’m anxious to try it and the concealer, too!

Happy Friday Muse! Are you wearing this in any of your other posts that have a face shot? Just wanted to get a look at it on your face; you and I have so many of the same skin issues. Except I’m about a hundred years older than you 🙂

    Hi 🙂

How do you compare this foundation to the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup ?

They both have exactly the same ingredient list.

    Thanks 🙂

  • Alyssa

Was the texture of it similar to the loreal miracle blur and fill in lines like it?

    • Isabella Muse

no Alyssa, described in the post the texture and consistency as being creamy and as you can see from the swatches the texture isn’t silicone based like the Loreal Miracle BLur. Hope this helps!

  • Lacy

    I second kellly! ^^

will you be reviewing the blushes from the line?

    • Isabella Muse

those are scheduled for tonight lacy (not sure the time but it’s later this even that the post is schedule to go live). I fear I didn’t like them as much as the concealer and foundation though!

I just saw this today at Target and was shocked! I haven’t been seeing any ads or anything for it so I grabbed it and went home to look for reviews on Youtube and can’t find a single one! They had an amazing display for it! probably about 12 shades and then 4 concealer shades and they had 3 really gorgeous blush shades in the same type of packaging so I’m very excited to hear about those and see if I should pick some up!

How do you compare it to the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup SPF 18 ?

The ingredient lists are exactly the same 😉

    Thanks 🙂

HIIII Muse! greetings from Puerto Rico! I’m really anxious to try this foundation, do you have an idea when it will show up in cvs,or walgreens because we don’t have Bed bath and beyond or Harmons here!LOL. Thanks.

  • Charmaine

Hi Izzy, great review as always😀
    Haven’t chatted in forever😘
I saw this at Target and was sort of surprised at the price ($12.99 here in Kona). Do you think that’s kinda much for ds mu? I love L’Oreal, but if I’m gonna splurge I wanna be certain it’s worth the $, else I’d just go to Macy’s and get Clinique since it’s not that much more. CoverGirl’s newest fndn is like $16 or so, which shocked the heck out of me, so that’s definitely off my To Try list. Plus, CG runs rather pink (which I am SO not), so, well, there it is😄

    • Isabella Muse

aw thanks charmaine how are you? it has been a while! YES! jeez that’s expensive!!!!!! I’m sure you’ll find it on sale sooner or later. yeah, I got the olay/cg foundation for like 18 bucks?!

  • Jenn vonhagen

So happy to find your post, I just bought the blur foundation in Sand beige and the blur blush in soft pink and I couldn’t be happier these are outstanding! I’m 42 and in Florida, so my skin is loving the SPF too! Feels extremely light on my skin, and the blurring is definitely visible!

  • Eileen Iacobellis

How to pick correct color – I now use C5 Loreal true Match Lumi and C4-5 concealer.
    Thank you
    Eileen

Hey girlie! I might be crazy, but I dont think u mentioned the coverage this provides. What would u say, and is it buildable? Thanks 🙂

    Lol yes indeed!
I almost got this yesterday but went for the fluid touch, haven’t tried it yet though.
However, I picked up the visible lift blush in berry, (I don’t usually mind silicone type products as long as its not all over my face) but wth, I swear mine is more creamy like your swatch of the peach color! I feel like they just pumped them all out differently or something. Oh well, I’m kinda glad.
