MAC Kelly Yum-Yum Lipstick Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

MAC Lipstick Kelly Yum Yum

MAC Kelly Yum-Yum Lipstick is one of four limited edition shades of MAC Lipstick that launches with the MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Collection that launches later this month.

MAC Kelly Yum-Yum if you couldn’t tell from the name is part of Kelly’s MAC Collection.

Take a peek!

As you can see here and from my review and swatch round up in my prior post Kelly’s packaging is very much like the MAC Dame Edna Collection. It’s a pretty shade of lilac with Kelly’s autograph in red on the packaging. Aside from the purple the packaging is pretty basic. I wish it had a little more bling to it and something fancier but I love the lilac none the less, kinda reminds me of Kelly’s hair!

MAC Kelly Yum-Yum Lipstick Swatches

MAC Kelly Yum-Yum Lipstick quite reminds me of Candy Yum Yum and it is a variation of the shade but it seems brighter to me. This is a blue based pink that’s super bright and vibrant with an almost neon look. The color is pretty much opaque on a single layer with a super creamy formula that wears for around five hours! It wears away, as you see in my photos below, to a lasting staining effect. The satin finish applies without tugging but it feel a little dry on my lips through the wear so I applied clear gloss on top to not only make the shade more wearable for my skin tone but also to keep it nice and moist.

After

Honestly, MAC Kelly Yum-Yum Lipstick is a little too blue based for this girl! I like my lipsticks warmer to be honest but those who love a cooler lipstick shade and one that’s vibrant too you’ll adore the shade I’m sure.

The MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne launches next week but is already starting to pop online for sale!

That is a pretty color, but in general I don’t gravitate towards pinks. Give me a rosy brown or a brick red any day of the week.

Gutted that these are already sold out. And my nearest MAC counter is an hour away 🙁 I wanted Dodgy Girl like nobody’s business.

I think this is my favourite lipstick out of both Osbourne collections. I’m really surprised to have not seen a red as of yet.
