Models Own Moisturizing Lip Balm Review

Models Own Peach Moisturizing Lip Balm

Models Own Moisturizing Lip Balm is a delicious and highly moisturizing lip balm available in three flavors with an SPF 15. Granted, Models Own Moisturizing Lip Balm isn’t the most travel friendly of lip balms but my drier lips love this formula!

I recently purchased Models Own Moisturizing Lip Balm in Peach from ASOS.com and fell in love. This is a subtly flavored thicker balm with a hydrating Vitamin E and Aloe Vera infused formula. It’s quite thick but it has a melt on contact formula that has a balmy, lip hugging formula that drenches lips in a great deal of moisture. Those sensitive to fragrance and flavor no worries I found the peach was very, very subtle and a mere back note to the balm!

I’m a little sad about the SPF as this does come in a pot and you’ll need to apply with your finger which renders it very travel unfriendly so I’m not making much use of the SPF in the formula. I have it set up near my bed and apply it in the evening prior to heading to bed. It feels not only keeps my lips moist but also softens them as I sleep so I wake up with nice hydrated lips. But be careful, it’s thick enough to transfer onto your pillow case 🙁 I tend to try and sleep on my back (SO HARD because I’m a stomach sleeper) so it’s not too bad but beware!

I even love the cute case it comes in which has a generously sized mirror. The case is a rubber one but so far it isn’t the grime magnet that NARS packaging is!

If you’re looking for a heavily moisturizing lip balm I do so highly recommend Model’s Own Moisturizing Lip Balm!

Available at ASOS.com and UrbanOutfitters.com.

I purchased this item.

I have read that applying spf to skin at night helps it sink in as you sleep and you get part of the benefit the next day. So keep this up 🙂

Ugh, anything with the words “lip” + “balm” and I’m sold. I’m kind of new to your blog (and i love it btw), but from the looks of it, you seem to be the queen of lip products, chubby lip pencils, specifically. While walking through Walgreens I saw a display for new L’Oreal glossy balm chubby pencils and I was wondering your thoughts on them if you have them? Not sure whether these are worth adding to the collection of lippies or not….
