You NEED Bath & Body Works Salt Water Taffy Candle
So I picked up the Bath & Body Works Salt Water Taffy and I’m in love. I can’t recall it being available when the American Boardwalk Candle Collection launched in all honesty and I definitely do not own so I’m happy Bath & Body Works brought it back for the 2014 Semi-Annual Sale!

I have to admit when Philosophy launched the Lime, Lemon, and Strawberry Taffy Shower Gels they didn’t quite SMELL like Taffy but Bath & Body Works Salt Water Taffy kinda captures a bit of the candy aspect of taffy!
A reader told me recently that this smelled like Strawberry Picnic and she’s quite right! The candle fragrances are almost identical to each other. I do think that there’s a little more strawberry and vanilla with Salt Water Taffy though! At first sniff it kinda reminds me of walking into James Candy Company in Atlantic City. You get this whipped up, creamy vanilla scent! After you’ll find strawberry and cherry mixes in with the creamy and creates this soft, ooey gooey candy scent! I
I wouldn’t call it a spot on scent for Salt Water Taffy but it will remind you of it!
Fun fact, whenever I go to Atlantic City, which is quite often, I have bring pounds and pounds of taffy back. My sister is an absolute hardcore fan of it. I actually love the smell but dislike the actual candy. It’s the type of candy that sticks to the roof of your mouth and gets all caught up in your teeth yak!
Now I will say chocolate covered potato chips, also sold at James Candy Company, are the bomb dot com. They also sell chocolate covered Oreos and they make these amazing marshmallows covered in caramel (they sell these at a stupid price by the piece, I think it’s like $2 bucks per marshmallow what what!??!) and finally chocolate (or not if you prefer) covered macaroons!
Just thinking about it has me wanting to go to Atlantic City. I’m seeing KISS there in August so I’ll be sure to stock up on snacks!
