Olay Launches Facial Oil

Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil

Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil is the brand’s first ever facial oil! I must say this is exciting. Facial oil has been on trend for a while now in the mid range beauty world but hasn’t extended to the drugstore one as much!

LOreal Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Facial Oil was a surprisingly great drugstore option that launched several months ago so I’m happy to see Olay also getting in on the facial oil craze.

Take a look!

Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil is formulated with nine natural oils (coconut, apricot kernel, grape seed extract, sunflower, evening primrose, sesame, jojoba, babassu, and mimosa oils) and was designed as a lightweight formula that doesn’t make your skin greasy. They market it as all natural with a formula that preserves moisture to skin as it conditions. It’s formatted for duller, drier skin!

I’m quite intrigued by this one as I use facial oil in my nightly regime so a cheaper option is always awesome.

It’s available now at Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Count me as curious-mainly because of its part of the Luminous line. Years ago they dropped “Oil of” and just used Olay because they said oily skin didn’t appeal to most customers. Now oil is the trend. I will await your review to see the actual benefits and if its adds any “glow” or “luminosity”. I use Tarte now based on your review and I love it and I am playing around with Freemans Eclos for a cleansing oil but never both in the same week.

I’m glad you like the tarte 😀 I also love Josie’s! but cheaper option, I’m on board with that so def curious about the olay one!

Dr. Organics Rose Otto face serum is my to go oil. It works wonders for everybody’s skin. This is proven, since more then a year ago I made everybody in the office buy a bottle. Even the dull skin of my 50 year old male and female co-workers look more revived now.

have to try Dr Organics Rose Otto serum after Cindy’s rave review. Where is it sold?

I’m curious about the Olay oil, but, as you say, the L’Oreal Glow Renewal oil is super! I too only use it at night before I apply the Glow Renewal moisturizer, another superb product. Thank you L’Oreal! (or should I say Lancôme, since they own L’Oreal?)

I use both the Tarte, Josie Maran & the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Face Oil which is a nice drugstore alternative under $10 too & very light I really like it mixed in my moisturizer during the day. I’m interested to see the price point since Olays pro line keeps on going up. I’m curious.
