About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ooh, I’m excited about all of the Photo Op shadows being in one place! These are the only Smashbox shadows which don’t go muddy on me.

I had major packaging issues with the Wondervision palette. The first one I got didn’t close. I contacted Smashbox and they sent a new one. I took that palette with me to NY for a week for spring break and it totally fell apart. I also heard bad things about the master class packaging from last year on YouTube. I will pass on Smashbox mega palettes.

There is a review on sephora saying that this packaging is much better!

I’m not too sure what I think about this one! I told myself if they did a III, I would snatch it up, but it’s not quite what I expected. I have 1 & II (Which I depotted into a zpalette), so I’m just not sure I need this… I like the purples and greens, but I’m not much for blues or pinks. I’ll also have to see how much overlap there is on the neutral side. I am a huge fan of the photo op shadows though!!!

At least the contour has a noticeable grey tone to it, and they aren’t just swapping a bronzer in thinking that actually works for everyone. 9_9 It looks like a great kit, but I can tell the colors would be too warm for me. Great starter kit for somebody with a medium, warm skin tone, though!

This palette is nice and all but ..its heavy and clunky even though u can remove the whole set of shadows which snaps n unsnaps..and the colors ARE DUPABLE…IF..you are a makeup artist pro..then maybe..but for a person who is not and has tons of palettes..its not NEEDED. PASS.

This is my go-to palette. It’s absolutely wonderful. I have a few other palettes but this one is the one I go to most often. The colors are very saturated and last a long time and can be used wet/dry for liner that stays put. It’s very sturdy (and heavy). Since nearly every color imaginable is included I’m having a hard time justifying buying any other palettes 🙁 (for now), LOL. Highly recommend. Glad for the splurge!!!

Hi Muse! Do you know if the Master Class Palette 3 has parabens and phthalates? I can’t find the ingredient list anywhere! Thanks 🙂
