Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner Review
My hair smells amazing today thank you very much Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner! Why has Lisa not jumped on board and created a perfume in Black Vanilla?!
I recently rediscovered my love of Carol’s Daughter since it is now available at Target. Hello? Any excuse to go to Super Target yo!
Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner is formulated for drier, duller, brittle hair and can be used immediately after stepping out of the shower on wet hair to detangle locks and add moisture as well as prevent breakage.
This one is packed with all sorts of goodies like pro-vitamin B5, lavender, honeysuckle, wheat germ, and aloe leaf. It’s formulated with natural moisturizers instead of synthetic silicones so it adds hydration but doesn’t weight hair down.
I have very long, drier hair that’s wavy and I typically like mist in leave in conditioners. My absolutely favorite is the Balm En Root Pre-Styling Conditioning Spray but I’ve been known kids leave in conditioner from Johnson & Johnson or others. I don’t fit the “brittle hair” demographic though but that’s not much of an issue since Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner gets on famously with my hair.
I admit, conditioning aspect aside, I’d use this no matter WHAT hair type they marketed it for because it smells stupid good! They really need to do a perfume in this fragrance. I’d liken the rich, creamy vanilla scent to Lush Vanillary! It’s a very smooth, rich vanilla scent that’s sultry and dare I say sexy. I don’t typically “do” vanilla scents but this one is incredible and even addicting might I add. I now have pretty ALL the Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla products in my hair arsenal just because it smells so incredible.
I typically mist this on my wet hair and comb through. It’s very lightweight and it does add nice moisture which in turn helps me easily brush through my hair. It adds moisturize but not weight to my locks. And as I said it smells incredible as the fragrance lasts and lingers so you’ll get faint wisps of it through the day! My drier hair seems to like it as my hair feels nice and soft once it dries plus the added benefit of easily combing through my hair is a plus.
Overall, Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner is a must, must, must have! Even if your hair isn’t dry I’d recommend trying it out as you can use it as a hair fragrance of sorts.
Love the moisture it provides, love the scent, I’d say this one is a winner!
