E.L.F. Snow White Face Collection

The E.L.F. Snow White Face Collection is one of several new Disney Snow White Fairest of Them All Sets introduced for Fall 2014 from E.L.F. Cosmetics.

This set focuses on the face and comes with a cute kabuki as well as a blusher bronzer duo!

Let’s have a look!

E.L.F. Snow White Face Collection1

The E.L.F. Snow White Face Collection comes in a rather cute box and it is what you’re paying into here for the $5 price tag considering the E.L.F. Essential Blush and Bronzer Set on their site includes a kabuki and is marked at $3!

Needless to say the packaging is really great! The outer box is lovely and the compact is really cute which features Snow White on the cover. As you may recall I ranted a fair bit about the kabuki included in the E.L.F. Disney Ariel Bronzed Beauty Set and things unfortunately have not improved in this set. This is scratchy bristled brush that sheds and splits terribly!!!!!!!! E.L.F. has absolutely no excuse pairing this with brush with the duo because they can and have a ton of great brushes so I find it crazy they decided to go with this monstrosity of a brush.

Unfortunately, I’m also not a fan of the bronzer blusher duo. It adds a nice sheen to cheeks and face but it’s very, very, very sheer and a bit chalky it also has a tendency to sit unnaturally on top of skin and doesn’t provide a smooth finish! It wears for a very short time as well as the initial application wears away within two hours of applying.

Sad sigh!

Of course, the E.L.F. Snow White Face Collection is a pretty collector’s piece but it’s just not a functioning makeup set as the quality is just not there sadly! But I can see it be very appealing to Disney fans so if you want it you can grab it now exclusively at Walgreens or is in stock at drugstore.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Can we take a second and think about how elf included a bronzer in a Snow White-themed make-up collection here? Like, are you for real? -_-

Ugh, YES! This bugged the hell out of me too. I guess it kinda made sense for Ariel, but not Snow White. They should have just had a blush.

Do you know if e.l.f. cosmetics will come out with any other princess

I’m so excited for these. I saw the sleeping beauty collection yesterday at Walgreens while I was waiting for my medicine. My older sister is a big fan so I bought her the brush set. I told her that I was doing some Christmas shopping at Walgreens and she thinks I bought her tylenol. Let’s just say this is going to a big surprise. *^-^*
