Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21 Review
I had a moment recently where I told myself, “Wow I like this Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21 but did I really pay $20 bucks for it?!”
I think life dictates we should improve upon ourselves but not necessarily revert backwards and I admit when I got my Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21 I felt like I stepped into the past…!
As a massive fan of both Sephora Brushes and the incredible Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 I was delighted they introduced a new Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21. I’m not sure what classic means to Sephora….it could be this is a repromoted brush but I’m unsure as I’ve never personally tried it thus it is brand new to me. But classic seems about right since it feels kinda retro since it has a super lightweight plastic-like handle…hmmm wait what?! Sephora’s brushes rival MAC in my opinion. If nothing at all the store brand puts out some superb brushes so I was shocked at how flimsy the handle was on this. I was also kinda upset they didn’t include the really cool plastic bristle cover that they have been using on all their brushes. This merely has a small plastic tube and wrapping! So it does feel like they reverted back to their past here because this isn’t really the quality I’ve come to know from their line of brushes.
On the upside, I swear the Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21 reminds me of a cheaper version of the Marc Jacobs The Conceal Full Cover Correcting Brush!
They might have forsaken the handle but the bristles are SUPER soft, shed and split free, and made from naturon fibers which are synthetic PBT which emulate natural animal hair. They are also treated the bristles with an antibacterial treatment.
I’ve ranted a lot about the brush but it’s pretty awesome. I find the bristles a touch softer than the #57 and makes sheering out thicker, creamier concealers a snap! This is the brush you want on hand to use with concealers like It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye because it takes that very thick, emollient formula and not only sheers it out but also buffs it under eyes to a beautiful airbrushed appearance!
In the end, the Sephora Classic Multitasker Concealer Brush #21 isn’t going to replace by #57 but it’ll be a brush I see myself using daily, easily, because it truly does an excellent job with thicker concealers!
I like!
It has quirks but those can be easily overlooked as it produces excellent results!
