Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer for Fall 2014

Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer

Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer for Fall 2014 is a new formula that visibly reduces the appearance of pores.

So wait, how is this different from the original Smashbox Photo Finish!?

Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer promises to keep shine at bay as it controls oil and mattifies shine for up to eight hours with a sweat, and humidity resistance formula that make pores disappear instantly.

Shrug…

It sounds the same as the original Photo Finish however, that formula doesn’t promise the eight hour shine-free wear nor does it promise to wear well in humidity so perhaps that’s the main difference.

I don’t get on very well with Photo Finish unfortunately. It feels like an army of tiny ants is running under my skin when I wear it and I tend to start itching badly at first application! I must admit I am quite curious about the new Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer for Fall 2014 though but not sure I want to risk trying it.

What do you think?

I actually just played with this at work yesterday and I had the same thought before applying to my hand. The texture is different, not as, for lack of a better word, greasy feeling. It seems much more lightweight which is intriguing. It feels a lot like Clarins Instant Smooth. I never had luck with the original formula but I think I might grab a sample next time I’m in to try this one out.

The original Photo Finish is my HG primer! I have combo skin that’s breakout prone now that I’m over 30 (le sigh) and it doesn’t make me break out at all. I’d love to try this!
