Welcos Killing Me Zombie CC Cream Review & Swatches
As a self proclaimed zombie lover I could not resist purchasing the Welcos Killing Me Zombie CC Cream! I mean seriously, even if this sucked I’d likely rave it because it’s freaking CUTE!
Looking at the fun packaging and it creates zombie-like skin too! My makeup life is surely completely now that Welcos Killing Me Zombie CC Cream has entered it.
I thought I knew everything about Korean beauty but obviously I don’t as I’ve never heard of the Welcos brand until recently when my favorite E-bay seller stocked the Killing Me Zombie CC Cream and I immediately purchases.
This one is an all in one formula that provides an anti-aging formula with an SPF 30 that brightens, whitens, and acts as a base and primer for makeup or can used along for natural coverage.
I LOVE CC Cream formulas like this as they are available in a single shade that darken as you apply. I’d say the formula on the Killing Me Zombie CC Cream is almost an exact dupe for Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream. So outside of the cute packaging you likely don’t need it if you already own Tony Moly’s version! It’s also a bit creamier and less thinner than Tony Moly’s version.
They package this in a cute box featuring a gothy zombie girl! Loves it! It includes both a smaller and larger version of the CC Cream so you can travel with the smaller size and use the larger one at home. The larger size is housed in a similar barrel as Skin 79’s popular BB Creams.
I think the self adjusting formula could go wrong for some skin types but most should get with it fine as it sheers out well so the finish isn’t pasty. Unlike some formulas this doesn’t go orange-y on me but has more of a creamy beige finish. It’s quite sheer so it’ll even out your skin tone and create a brighter appearance but won’t necessarily conceal blemishes or imperfections. I’ve always called CC Creams a my skin but better type of product. They take already good skin and make it better so if you do require more coverage you might want to use it to prime with but not for coverage alone.
I actually like it all its own as it brightens up my skin and evens out! My skin is always tired and dull looking and this creates a nice, flawless complexion that’s more lively. It wears for a bit of a shorter time at around four hours when used this way but the wear can be extended if you dust a bit of powder over it!
Overall, Welcos Killing Me Zombie CC Cream doesn’t only have the cute factor going for it but a formula that really brightens up skin and gives it a more flawless look. Whether you use it as a primer or as a lightweight foundation of sorts I’d say check this out if you haven’t already tried the Tony Moly version I mentioned in this review.
I picked this up from ebay.com seller F2Plus1.
