Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Brush Review
The Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Brush and Wet n Wild Angled Eyeshadow Brush are two (possibly limited edition) Wet n Wild Makeup Brushes that recently launched at drugstores.
I located a display at Harmons recently and only paid a buck each for the brushes so I firgure, at that price, I couldn’t rant too much about ’em if they sucked right? Right.

And the verdict is out! The Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Brushes aren’t as BAD as say the essential brushes foundation in the E.L.F. Snow White Brush Set but they aren’t as GOOD as say the E.L.F. Studio Brushes.
The handles are made from very light, flimsy plastic but they are still sturdy. The bristles are splitting a little on both brushes but they are decently soft and I’m seeing no shedding at all! Thankfully the bristles are not scratchy! They are made from animal hair so no synthetic hairs here.
Out of the two brushes the Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Brush is the better as it packs color nicely on the lid. On the downside, I think the Wet n Wild Angled Eyeshadow Brush just missed the mark. This would be nice working in the crease or even the outer v but the bristles are a tad too short so results are a bit sloppy but none the less for a buck it’s NOT too too bad.

I did wash one with brush cleaner and one with soap and water. I never wash brushes with soap and water and relay on brush cleaner to do the work. Just be warned, I found the one washed with soap and water dried and retained it’s shape best. The one that I used brush cleaner on ended up feeling quite stiff after the dry down!
Overall, Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Brushes aren’t going to win any awards or become a key player in your makeup brush world. THEY are however, a nice option when you don’t want to use your good brushes on cream eyeshadow application as they are only a buck! I’m always kinda reluctant to use my expensive brushes with MAC Paint Pots but if I’m paying a buck for a brush I don’t mind much!
Do you need these?
Not really.
But if you’re a Wet n Wild fan I imagine you might want to test drive them for yourself!
Anyone try ’em?
