Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Removing Towelettes Review

Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Removing Towelettes

There are new makeup brushes as well as a new package of Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Removing Towelettes that are launching at drugstores at the moment.

I’m honestly unsure if the brushes or the makeup remover wipes are limited edition but I decided to haul a pack and review ’em for you!

Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Removing Towelettes are $2.99 for a pack of 25 and promise a baby soft texture. These are generously sized wipes that are a bit “sudsy” as you can see in my photo below. I was a bit worried about the soapy bubbles on the wipes but thankfully they didn’t leave behind a film on my face! They do well to remove basic makeup but won’t really do well with waterproof mascara or black eyeliner and other dramatic eye makeup. The wipes are quite generously sized so one wipe should take care of your entire face. I didn’t feel they did that GREAT a job getting my makeup off so you might want to use them for quickie clean ups when you just want to head to back versus full out makeup removal.

Now they are actually ok for the price but unfortunately they have one really huge problem in my opinion. The texture of the wipes are NOT baby soft. I felt they were ok on my face but they felt very rough around my eye area for some reason and the texture of the clothes
was necessarily dry or tugging but had more of a grittiness when used around the delicate areas of my eyes.

Perhaps for removing swatches from arm these are a nice budget fix but Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Removing Towelettes aren’t something I’d depend on for daily makeup removal or even quickie removal!

Tried ’em?

I’m having a love affair with face wipes as in “all the wipes MUST belong to ME”. Lol. Anyway, I felt the same. The suds really bothered me, I’ll probably just use them to clean up the swatches on my arm and hands. I did buy L’oreal’s Ideal Clean wipes. The Allure 2013 winner sticker sold me. They smell nice, will try them tonight. Have a good day, Muse!

Since we are on the topic of makeup wipes, there is a Korean brand called Epielle that makes Cleansing Tissues in Cucumber, Aloe Vera, and Green Tea.

I just started using them myself, so I can’t give you a full review but they get pretty good reviews and are worth a try.

Big Lots carry them for $1 for 30 wipes and $2 for 60. They are relatively small compared to most wipes but I am a guy I have a pretty big face so I think for women they would be a fine size.

Some say they don’t remove waterproof makeup but a few wipes and some elbow grease worked on Makeup Forever Aqua Rouge which is very pigmented and “waterproof.”

Anyways you should hunt them down and give them a try and maybe review them. Our Big Lots had a ton of them.

I looked online and apparently they make Citrus as well as Collagen & Vitamin E.
