About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

And they’re 6 for $24 right now too!! SQUEEE!!!!

thanks for the heads up Miss Muse!! After my emergency dermo appt. this afternoon, I think I’ll head over to BBW and see if they’ve got them in stock yet!! I always need to snortle them first… 😛

We;ll find out about 2:00 this afternoon. I hurt my left shoulder last week, and suddenly this crazy awful blistery rash popped up, just on my left arm!! Going to see the derm this PM and see what the heck that’s all about!! >:( Doubt that it’s anything serious, but it sure is sore and icky and I want it gone!

      Hi Kim and Muse –
Don’t mean to butt in; just caught your comments on the rash and shoulder pain…any tick bites? I’m jaded in the worst way (I’ve had Chronic Lyme for 16 years) but always doing outreach. I’m probably way off but just wanted to throw that out there just in case. Hope you feel better 🙂

Hi Sarah! Oh, I’m so sorry about your Lyme’s!!! That’s horrible stuff. DH has had *both*strains of West Nile virus, and has never been the same since.. I can only imagine how debilitating Lymes’ must be. I am on constant alert for ticks b/c they serve no purpose other than to spread disease. I **HATE** those little _)($&!)~! things!

Actually, I just found out I have shingles. For the love of criminy!!! I’m not old enough for the recommended vaccination age, but when this dang crap heals up, I’m going to get it! Ah well… I was kinda afraid it was something like a staph infection – a guy I work with has had 2 of those in the past year and he’s healthy as a horse otherwise. At least it’s not life threatening… still a damnable nuisance tho.

      Hi Kim!
Both strains of West Nile; sh*& what are the odds?! That sucks and I’m so sorry to hear he’s never been the same…I agree with your sentiment on ticks; they’re pretty vile and Lyme is brutal!
Shingle – yikes!! I’ve heard that can be extremely painful! I hope you’re not suffering too much and it heals up soon! God, all this stuff makes me want to live in a bubble sometimes. 😉
