Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection

Finally! I feel like I’ve waited literally ages for the Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection to launch in the US. Charlotte Tilbury created her cosmetic line quite recently and launched it in the UK but we’ve only see a few pieces of the collection here in the US.

But this Fall (September 2nd to be exact) the entire Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection will launch online then Charlotte is partnering up with Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Nordstrom in Los Angeles at The Grove for massive in store launch events in early October, and rolling out in major regional markets with Nordstrom through November.

I can’t contain my excitement!

Charlotte Tilbury is one of the biggest makeup artists in the world and has worked with countless celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Natalie Portman, Eva Mendes, and many more.

Her makeup brand is built upon a empowering message to “give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world.”

“Beauty is not an exclusive club – there are no unattractive women, just some that dont know the power of make-up,” says Charlotte Tilbury. “I was shocked to find out that 50% of women do not engage with make-up and the reasons are: they dont know how to use it, they dont know what suits them, they dont have the time. I wanted to revolutionize the retail experience for these women. Even as a professional makeup artist, I walk onto the Beauty Hall floor and want to run in the opposite direction. Theres so much choice and so little direction, help and problem-solving and I wanted to set my brand apart from this.”

With her new collection she brings her knowledge of skincare, beauty, and makeup to the table with offerings to transofmr your skin and give you a beautiful look.

To make the counter experience easier on consumers, Charlotte created 10 signature looks which are the iconic looks she recreates time and again on celebrity clients such as Kate, Penelope, Gisele and Rihanna. These looks are inspired by past beauty icons (Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Bo Derek) and their modern day counterparts. While you can purchase products individually, you can also walk up to the counter and purchase a full look (e.g. The Rock Chick or The Uptown Girl) and get all the products you need to deliver coordinated eyes, cheeks and lips – so that choosing and creating an expertly finished look is totally seamless.

After the NY launch event, Charlotte will travel to Los Angeles where the line will take over Nordstrom at The Grove with a beauty festival for consumers on October 10 and 11. Celebrity friends will make appearances and there will be lots of fun, interactive elements such as: lipstick readings; facial mapping; a “Turn Back Time Skincare Bar” where you can learn the 5 steps to looking 5 years younger, learn how to contour your face AND body, etc. Launch events will also be hosted with Nordstrom in other major markets including Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Orange County, Washington D.C. and Las Vegas through Spring 2015.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I am so excited about her makeup line! I cannot wait to get my hands of that Magic Cream.

  • Robin

Never heard of her or her products, but her line looks beautiful and I like her thoughts about makeup. It sounds like it will be pricey. Have you ever tried any products by her from her overseas line?

    • Isabella Muse

most of what was available overseas will be available in the US so that’s a good thing! Yes I have, very impressed line! It is indeed high end so it is priced accordingly 🙁 I actually just re-ordered the magic cream as the one I purchased from the UK broke boooo! I hear it is divine! the shadows are quite lovely too!

I want EVERYTHING.. I am so excited too, I have been waiting for this launch for so long..

That blush compact looks gorgeous! Would love to get my hands on it once it is out. I feel my wallet aching already. Yikes! 😛

I could have sworn I saw a counter a couple of months ago at a store in Santa Monica…

Thanks for the info. I’ve been waiting for her stuff a long time as well. I did net-a-porter in Britain . net was great in how it was packaged, presented. Just great. Got the magic cream, which I couldn’t use because it’s highly fragranced disappointingly, got Nude Kate lipstick, very nice and the Blondiegloss. I got a free shipping week at Net, which was great, but paid a lot more because of the weakness of our dollar to the pound. Love the lipstick, the gloss is small. Nice, but small, and the lipstick seems smaller to me than our usual lipsticks, but I might be mistaken. I would not pay for a gloss again. Want to try the shadows and blush and liner but I’m bummed they are only online. This whole trend of saving money so online stores vs. real stores isn’t good, particularly for makeup. You can’t pick makeup online. Period. But her swatches are excellent. I knew nude kate would work on me,and it does. Her stuff is nice and I’d like to try more. Curious to see regular US prices. Maybe in dollars I’d be willing to try more!

I need all the things!!! Oh that quad with the cranberry and gold shadows…I’m swooning! I can’t wait for OC launch event. I’ll be there and leave happy and so broke lol.

  • Monica

I want to try her makeup as it looks fabulous but I don’t know if I can spend the $. I have no problem buying a Louis Vuitton though!

  • Dandy

I Never heard of her name either however this looks like top notch make up line. Would be nice to have some feedback from the users.

  • Maggie

Love her magic cream, though I can’t help but see a nipple every time I look at her blush lol.

  • Monica

Wow! $95 for the magic cream! Now that price for skincare I’m not surprised by at all especially since I’ve heard great things about it from you, Muse. However, I won’t be spending $40 on a blush. An eye pencil, maybe I can swing that!
