E.L.F. Snow White The Fairest of Them All Eye Collection 2

E.L.F. Snow White The Fairest of Them All Eye Collection ($4.99) is one of several new Disney Snow White Sets that E.L.F. Cosmetics has introduced for the Fall 2014 season!

If you love Snow White I’m sure you’ll love this cute little set!

E.L.F. Snow White The Fairest of Them All Eye Collection 3

Many of the shades in this collection of shadows is very similar to ones that make an appearance in the E.L.F. Snow White Beauty Book Palette I recently reviewed. I expressed that the shades in the palette didn’t quite remind me of Snow White and I do feel a bit the same about the shadows in this collection as well. I see Snow as being a minimal kinda girl! Cherry red cheeks and lips and maybe a nude eye with black eyeliner. E.L.F. gives us more of a colorful palette for Snow’s look though as this palette contains a range of basic nudes as well as more vibrant shades of teal and sea foam.

The palette is done up in the E.L.F. Essential Beauty School Eyeshadow Compact style featuring six shades of eyeshadow. The main difference is you do get special, limited edition packaging in this set featuring Snow White which for me makes it worth a pick up especially if you’re a Disney fan or collector! The shadows are ok in this collection, nothing too exciting! They have a nice smooth texture, they blend easily, but they do tend to fade quickly as they are a bit powdery so primer is in order to keep them looking fresh throughout the day!

They also include a mascara in the set. I’m not a fan though as it does smudge a fair bit around my eyes and doesn’t add truly dramatic length. It’s a very basic mascara that adds some volume and a little bit of length.

This is cute but not terribly impressive. What does make it impressive is the sweet Snow White packaging! That’s pretty priceless for fans of Disney and Snow White!

Plus at $5 you aren’t breaking the bank to enjoy this little makeup fix.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I ended up just ordering this and the beauty book from drugstore.com. They are having 20% off right now so I justified it. haha I mainly got just for the cute packaging and to collect it to go along with my Evil Queen palettes.

I have the beauty book, and I think the Ariel Beauty book has a much better variety of colors that are more “Ariel”, but I still like the beauty book for Snow White the packaging is beautiful and some of the colors are quite flattering!
