Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller Review & Swatches

Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector

Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller is a retake on the Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Tinted Eye Roller. Apparently this is newly formulated with a BB Cream formula that corrects dark circles, awakens skin, evens skin tone, hydrates, and minimizes puffiness.

The new Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller is also a new smaller size at 8ML versus the older 15ML roller. I believe the price is a little cheaper too as this is $13.99 and I believe the old version was $14 or $15.99.

Let’s take a look!

As far as I can see, as far as ingredients are concerned, the only thing that changed is cyclopentasiloxane is now the first ingredient versus water but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The packaging is new as well since this comes in a new squeeze tube that’s about the size of a travel size toothpaste which you can squeeze to release product into the roller ball. Considering the old packaging was a plastic tube this makes for an improvement because you can get the concealer to flow easily with this product versus the plastic which you could not squeeze. The tube has an attached cooling roller ball that feels quite nice under eyes and allows you to roll the concealer in place. This cooling applicator is supposed to act to minimize puffiness bit aside from feeling nice I never really notice much of a different in my puffiness when using these devices.

The formula does show some improvement in texture and pigment as it is considerably creamier and less watery than the original with a touch more pigmentation. It comes in a Fair/Light and Light/Medium shade selection. It’s very soothing under eyes with a touch of moisture and blends easily without tugging or falling into drier creases or finer lines. I find no fault with the formula in regards to how it applies and feels under my eyes.

It offers some minor brightening but unfortunately it doesn’t completely correct darkness nor does it act as a concealer in the least and proves very, very sheer with a short wear time of around two hours before fading away completely. I never felt comfortable using the original nor do I feel good using this one as it feels like I’m leaving the house without concealing under my eyes.

So aside from some minor brightening I find the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller disappointing. This is a product that will work for people that don’t really need or use a ton of concealer to begin with. However, if you have bagginess, dark circles, or other issues you rely on concealer to conceal you’ll easily notice a major difference in coverage between this and your regular tried, true, and tested concealer.

Unfortunately, my eyes need a lot more than the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller is willing to provide!

It’s available now at drugstores or grab it at Ulta.com.

Too bad its disappointing, seems like a good idea in theory and how it would be a good multitasking product, if it lived up to the hype.

I really liked this when i first put it on-i don’t need a lot of concealing- but it oxidized like a mofo in like two hours and turned orange. I am pretty pale (nc15) and had it in pale-light which was a good match until it oompa loompaed on me 🙁
