Kate Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream

Kate Somerville Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream ($42) is my new go to quickie concealer for touch ups on the go. I don’t typically touch up my concealer throughout the day but Kate Somerville Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream wriggled it’s way into my heart and my makeup bag and now I’m suddenly all about brightening up my eyes in a simple click and swipe at work!

Kate Somerville Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream is a rather awesome lightweight concealer for those that want to brighten up eyes that’s available in three shade selections. I always look tired! It’s not so much dark circles but drier skin and fine lines give me that saggy, I haven’t slept look. A good concealer goes a long way at getting me back to looking bright, awake, and bushy tailed for the day but sometimes if I’m staring to long at my computer screen or I’m just having a stressed out day I find my eyes get that puffy, tired, stressed look.

Kate Somerville Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream to the rescue! This easy to tote around pen has an attached brush for application so I can swipe on easily for a super brightening effect on the go. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, “OH GOD DOES IT CONTAIN MICA?” I know! I hate concealers that contain mica as they just seem to add to my tiredness. This creamy, super hydrating formula does not add a bunch of shimmer under my eyes. It applies like a dream under my drier eyes and doesn’t accentuate dryness or fine lines. The creamy texture not only adds a bit of moisture but a nice sheerer, brightening finish that makes me look lively again. Of course, it isn’t super pigmented but when you’re touching up and on the go the amount of pigment is perfect for such occasions. It actually contains an anti-aging peptide as well so it gives eyes are more youthful look plus a hyaluronic microsponge technology that plumps up and adds moisture to skin as well as a ceramide complex to retain that moisture!

So if your eyes are looking a little tired at the middle or end of your day I’d highly suggest investing in Kate Somerville Illumikate Concealing Eye Cream! It’s one of those makeup bag essentials you won’t want to be without.

This is light. I don’t have the dark shade or medium shade so I’m not sure.
