Lush Granny Takes a Dip Review

Lush Granny Takes a Dip

Is it Lush Granny Takes a Dip or Jerry Garcia takes a dip? The new Lush Granny Takes a Dip Bath Bomb explodes in an array of psychedelic shades as soon as it hits your bath water! I’m positive this is where you turn the lights down low, toss a red scarf over the lighting in your bathroom, and put some good tunes on your iPod might I suggest something by the Grateful Day? Or perhaps All Along in the Watchtower or Strange Days? Or how about Tuesday Afternoon and Good Morning Star Shine?

I’ll try damn hard not to recommend you the entire Donovan catalog at this point!

You know something groovy!

Lush is every always a FUN experience. They always have their eye on the innovative prize because there products are always a unique experience with plenty of fun involved!

Lush Granny Takes a Dip is testimony to how fun Lush can be! This large bath bomb or bath fizzy contain notes of lemon oil, fresh ginger oil, and spicy black pepper which to me makes it smell like a soft oddly groovy cotton candy scent! The bomb was actually inspired by a 60’s clothing store called Granny Takes a Trip but dare I say it might smell a little like a soothing, light floral perfume your dear old grandmum might wear! Don’t let that scare you though as I promise it’s quite lovely!

The best part about it is the fact that it explodes in a swirl of psychedelic colors when it hits your bath water and crackles, fizzes, and softens water with a range of shades!

The nice part of the bomb is the outer ring contains small pieces of bubble bar so not only do you get a fizzy bath bomb experience but you’ll get a few moisturizing bubbles to take along on your “trip”!

This is one of my favorite bath bombs from Lush at the moment so I do so highly recommending picking one up your next trip to the Lush Store.

Or grab one at www.lushusa.com and don’t forget the groovy 60’s musics, it just adds to the bathing ambiance!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love Lush but I discover that Lush products have a paraben and stop to us it.
