Lush Parsley Porridge Soap Review

Lush Parsley Porridge Soap

Lush Parsley Porridge Soap ($6.95) couldn’t arrive at a better time as this is a great one for those with drier legs, elbows, and knees! And since Summer is here you’re likely showing off those legs and arms considerably more and you want them in tip, top shape smooth and nice and soft right?

Well Lush Parsley Porridge Soap is here to help!

Lush Parsley Porridge Soap has a green, herbally scent with a dominate leafy parsley fragrance. One wouldn’t think that parsley was pleasant smelling in a soap but really it smells quite fresh and good! Not only is it packed with parsley but the soap also contains finely ground oatmeal as well as tea tree oil and aloe gel. It creates a creamy lather and gently cleanses skin but also the ground up oatmeal exfoliates skin as you cleanse. This is thee perfect soap for rubbing on drier elbows, rough knees, and of course, on the heels of your feet to remove dead skin cells and create smoother, softer skin. It’s quite gentle but has enough of a grittiness to it that it’ll work to attach drier skin and buff it away!

It’s actually great for those have blemishes on their body or dreaded back acne as the tea tree oil helps to absorb excess oil. Lush says it’s gentle enough to even use on your face! I haven’t tried that out personally but it works a treat on my body. If you have drier just be warned as this isn’t the most hydrating of body soaps. I find it does an excellent job of buffing away drier skin but I need to follow up with moisturizer after exiting the shower since it strips my drier skin a bit!

If you have issues with spotty skin or just have a need for a gritty soap to gentle exfoliate areas around your body Lush Parsely Porridge Soap is a great one for the job!

Ooooh, I absolutely adore green/herby/leafy/garden smells, and my legs and arms always look like alligator skin no matter what time of year, so this sounds great, I can’t believe no one else has ever commented on this one. Hopefully they still make this? I don’t keep up on Lush even though I’m obsessed with Karma scent, yeah I’m lame….
