Paul & Joe Moisturizing Fluid Foundation

Come Fall 2014 Paul & Joe Moisturizing Fluid Foundation will be apart of the permanent Paul & Joe Beaute Collection. And just on time too as fluid foundations are trending at the moment with more and more brands launching their own take on the formula.

I’m seeing so many different variations of the fluid foundation and loving them all. You have hydrating ones, ones with SPF, matte ones, etc…..! But they all have one awesome thing in common, the lightweight, flawless, second skin finish!

What’s not to love about foundation that perfects and feels nonexistent on skin?

Paul & Joe Moisturizing Fluid Foundation 4

Paul & Joe Moisturizing Fluid Foundation comes in a delightful vanity worthy glass pump bottle! One thing about Paul & Joe you get quality makeup and gorgeous packaging to go along with it.

This formula applies like a serum and absorbs easily into skin. All the water in the foundation formula is replaced with 100% Orange Flower Water that adds not only moisture to skin but also a delightful, subtle orange-y fresh fragrance. This is sheerer but there’s enough coverage to create a your skin but better appearance so the wearer will get the benefits of a brighter, more even complexion that’s enhanced by the foundation but not overpowered by it which means it looks incredibly natural. It feels amazing on my drier skin. It doesn’t accentuate drier areas, it absorbs fully and provides a slightly dewy finish, and it wears (when set with powder) for a nice five hour period. As as much as I love some of the newer fluid foundations you do need to set with powder as they tend to wear away quickly or that might just be my drier skin.

I find the coverage creates a radiant, luminous healthy look on my skin. Mind you, those in need of full coverage might find this formula a little too sheer. Personally I like a more natural, lighter coverage as my skin is already fairly good but it needs a little something something to boost it into the realms of perfect.

If you’re look for super weightless, natural coverage I’d highly suggest checking out Paul & Joe Moisturizing Fluid Foundation when it launches this September at beautyhabit.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. How cute is that bottle! I’m not in the market for a new foundation but you gotta love Paul & Joe’s packaging.

Ooooo…. Dang… that bottle is sucking me in….. Would the 102 be the shade you’d use Muse? It looks pretty darn right for you, and since we are skintwins, I thought I would check. I may have to jump in on this stuff – that bottle is just too cute to resist!! 😀

actually it was great! Not exact match kim but the peachy undertone reminded me of the Josie Maran tinted moisturizer and it ended up working very well for me 😀 It smells amazing by the way 😀
