Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum is newly packaged this Summer as you may or may not have noticed. As a fan of the No Foundation Foundation formula I was happy to see they now house it in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator versus the glass pump bottle of old.

Don’t worry! It’s the same great formula you know and love from Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum! It’s just merely newly packaged and better for it might I add!

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum original packaging was quite nice but I noticed as you drew nearer to the bottom of the bottle it would become difficult to pump out. I’m enjoying this new packaging for a number of reasons one of which is I can get every single less drop out of the bottle without struggling plus the dropper allows me to drop a bit into my moisturizer should I like! The dropper less fussy than the jar and I can customize the amount I use easily this way!

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum remains the same though because hey, why change an already good thing. This formula comes packed with an SPF 30 as well as anti-aging ingredients that offer natural coverage.

This is available in a light medium shade selection which is a warmer beige. Since it is sheerer it should work across many skin tones but not all of them. My skin tans easily and I’ve been spending a good deal of my Summer outside so the shade worked well for me.

I like products like No Foundation Foundation because I have already good skin and don’t need a ton of coverage. I suffer from a duller, lackluster complexion without makeup on so I do rely on my foundation and BB Cream to even out my skin tone and allow me to reclaim some of my glow but I don’t really rely on it for blemish coverage or acne scarring etc…No Foundation Foundation is pretty sheer so I recommend it for those that aren’t looking to conceal a ton of issues but merely to enhance their own natural skin tone. The formula provides lasting moisture and has a serum-like texture that absorbs easily into my skin. It evens out my skin tone and provides a soft, even finish without caking or accentuating drier areas on my skin! The dewy finish is very comfortable on my skin and doesn’t create access oil or shine.

I do love the idea that not only am I protecting my skin and getting lightweight, breathable coverage but also treating it well with a host of good ingredients such as Vitamin C.

If you’re looking for lighter, natural coverage with a good for your skin formula, Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum is easily a good way to go.

It was amazing when it first launched and it’s still amazing in new packaging!

Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

    Hi Muse!

I bought this serum in July and I adore it… However, I don’t think that the No Foundation Foundation was repackaged, I think this is a different formula. This one is No Foundation Foundation Serum. It comes in only one shade, and the original pump formula comes in two. So I think there are two different formulas? Please, correct me if I’m wrong though!!

Btw.. Love your reviews and your site!!! 🙂

it’s so weird because from my understanding it was repackaged but comparing it to the old formula it is a bit more serum-like and less creamy so I believe you are right Lori 😀 I also checked ingreds and the two are different thanks 😀 aw thank you!

I’ve been really wanting to order this for a long time. Would you mind doing the swatch on your skin? Hard to tell on a wrist what it would look like on a face. Thanks.

This and the blush and lipstick and mascara all sound very cool and natural, never purchased from this brand before, the lip product looks nice, the bottle design of this reminds me of Armani Maestro foundation.

    Good Morning Miss Muse,
FYI-the No Foundation SERUM is a NEW product. Not a repackaging of the No Foundation, which has been repackaged with a different looking pump (the top part anyway, IDK if the pump mechanism is different).

I got the blush and the bronzer which are both lovely, but unfortunately for me contain ‘cones (silicones), which don’t work well with my skin. Bummer for me since it seems to be in just about everything these days. That’s why I always need to know the ingredients before I buy. There are a few really common cosmetic ingredients that don’t play nice with my complexion.

it’s so weird Pam as from my understanding it was newly packaged but comparing the two they do have a slightly different texture and ingreds are different 😀 aw sorry to hear it 🙁

I saw a haul/review of this product on MakeupbyTiffanyD’s youtube channel last night and was intrigued. After seeing this post, I’m taking it as a sign from the makeup gods and placing my order.

Love your blog. With this No Foundation Serum does it make your skin look orange at all or did it blend really well? I always fear the “orange look” but I really want to try this. Thanks in advance!

    • Isabella Muse

thanks Al! 🙂 no, no orange thankfully! It works well on my medium light skin!
