Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour

Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour, Christian Louboutin first ever nail polish, is now available at Nordstrom.com. It also recently launched at Sephora but quickly sold out (snagged two bottles, why I’ll never know or understand! I’ll review for you soon). So for those who have wanted to grab it you can do so now that it is back in stock.

The cute whimsical design of the bottle mimics that of a the Ballerina Ultima, the highest heel Louboutin has ever designed. The custom designed triangular brush gives precise, flawless application of the varnish with a highly pigmented, rich glossy formula!

One coat of the formula promises glossy color while two promises to give the lacquer finish shine of twenty coats of polish! The polish is formulated without toluene, formaldehyde or DBP.

This polish doesn’t come cheap though! It’s $50 per bottle!

What do you think of Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour?

Grab it now at Nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ok, that….. thing…. on the side of the shoe is freaking me out. Queen Nefertiri as a mermaid with her hands in her pockets? WTF was he on what he designed that?? 😀

That said, I’m not a polish gal – if I pay $7 for a bottle I feel I’ve bought expensive polish. $50 a bottle? Not this kid…. 😀 Cool looking bottle, but other than as a weapon, not sure there’s any real purpose to the dagger-like handle….

the design is common in bdsm, I think that’s his edgy expression of a bondage ballerina heel?! 🙂 Dita Von Teese has been known to wear heels like this. I could never wear them but on the right woman they are downright sexy hehe!

I refuse to believe that someone can stand up in those high heels (let alone walk) until I see some photographic evidence. Ballerinas can only stay on pointe for a few seconds and the way that shoe is designed, it seems like all your weight would be tipping forward.

As for the polish, at 0.4 oz it’s a little less than most polish brands (OPI, Essie, Zoya, etc. have all set the standard at 0.5 oz/15 ml). And that packaging would make it annoying as hell to try and store with the rest of my collection.

i don’t think they are meant to be worn long, it’s a fetish heel 🙂
