Sephora Kiss Me Balms

Sephora Kiss Me Balm ($8) is an absolute must have if you love EOS Lip Spheres and always wished they were tinted. I purchased these cute little Kiss Me Balms not expecting much but was blown away at how hydrating and pigmented they are.

You need one (or all of) them!

Sephora Kiss Me Balm is available in six shade selections and promises up to four hours of hydrating and color in a fruity flavored lip balm formula.

Sephora Kiss Me Balm Swatches (Melon Sorbet and Soda Pop)

Each comes housed in a clear lid egg shaped dome with a black lacquer bottom. They aren’t quite EOS status since they are shaped more like an egg which gives some a nice point for precise application versus the rounder shape EOS Lip Sphere’s have which kinda forces us to smear the balm all around our mouth and lips. These seem easier to apply due to their egg shaped tip!

One of the most surprising aspects of the formula is the color. They give lips a nice burst of juicy flavor and pigment! Having purchased two I expected both to be so sheer that you wouldn’t be able to see the difference in the shades. After trying them I was all, “OMG I need them all!” because indeed you can see the shade differences easily. Each is nicely pigmented and has a slick, hydrating feel that glides onto lips without tugging or having too dense a formula that feels dry. I wouldn’t say they provide four hours of hydration but they are pleasantly moisture on my lips with a nice high sheen finish that looks almost glossy!

They are cute for tucking into my desk when I want color, shine, and moisture plus they won’t break my bank!

Sephora did well with these! I like them a lot and think they are well worth picking up! You might just be as surprised as I was by the formula.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m not a huge fan of the EOS lip spheres but I think the packaging is very cute! And the pigment of these, wow. That berry one is beautiful!

Wow! Those little suckers really do pack a punch of color!! Gonna have to scope them out – I love things like this when I don’t wanna do a full on lipstick, esp when I’m just at the desk. Plus, I am planning a pity haul @ sephora, so I think I’ll add them in!

I was just looking at these at Sephora but didn’t buy but now I’m feeling the urge to go back. I’d swatched several shades on my hand but couldn’t decide. I was super impressed by the pigmentation, though. I love the purple one in particular!

I just got a bunch of L’Oreal color pop/nude balms, and now I need all of these!

How do these compare to maybelline’s baby lips? The babylips have been my all time go to lip product, but I’ve heard good things about the sephora spheres lately.
