Tarte Amazonian Clay Dual Liner Fall 2014

This Tarte Limited Edition Amazonian Clay Dual Liner was introduced with the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Fall 2014 Collection but as of recently Tarte launched a selection of Amazonian Clay Prismatic Eye Color Enhancing Dual Liners on QVC.com in a variety of shades.

Needless to say whether you’re grabbing this black/bronze variation of Tarte Limited Edition Amazonian Clay Dual Liner or one of the other shades offered on QVC you’ll be in for a treat as Tarte always excels at creating some of the creamiest eyeliners around!

Tarte Limited Edition Amazonian Clay Dual Liner

I bet you can guess one of the things I love most about this Tarte Amazonian Clay Dual Liner….? You’d be right if you guessed the packaging. This comes in a chunky glass jar and has a charming little snake on the gold top that matches the one featured on the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye & Cheek Palette.

Inside you’ll find the gel liner is split evenly down the middle featuring a brown and a black shade on either shade. The creamy gel formula glides onto lids like a smooth, melted butter with a velvety look that’s isn’t quite shiny but isn’t all matte either. On my drier eyes they wear all day without fading, cracking, flaking, or smudging and the formula easily removes at the end of the day!

Needless to say I’m quite happy about this formula but it’s such a rarity I’m disappointed in a Tarte Eyeliner formula as they do make some of the creamiest, easy to apply eyeliners around. This gel formula glides on super easily and I not only get two shades but one. I gotta admit I’m kinda loving on having two gel liners in one pot!

Likey!

Muse Approved for purchase.

I was searching for this on the Tarte website during the sale and was so disappointed to find out it was only at Sephora! I would have snatched it up with that 30% off! 🙁 Grrrrr.

That brown looks like it would wonderful on blue eyes. I have never been much of a gel eyeliner user. But a two in one looks like one I might need to get! Do you have a brush that you use for gels that would create a really thin line?

  • Amanda

Is this product similar to the tarte dual liner featured on qvc a few days ago?

    • Hanusia

I think it’s the same product, just with different shades! And the QVC ones don’t have the snake packaging.

This is super fun and practical who wouldn’t love this? I’m surprised marketing people in makeup didn’t think of this before. Very clever, especially when the economy isn’t too hot and people are pinching pennies left and right.

  • Chiara

Two shades in a pot. What a brilliant idea! I haven’t been able to finish a whole pot of gel eyeliner so this is a solution. and I actually think we can mix the colours to say maybe intensify the brown shade!

    Thanks for this!

What is the wear like? Will this travel across my oily eyelids?

Ahhh the green and black is so tempting for my green eyes! I wish that shade was on Sephora and not QVC only. I have Sephora Flash that I use all the time…
