Tory Burch Lipstick

The Tory Burch Makeup and Beauty Collection launched for Spring 2014 and returns for Fall 2014 with 12 shades of Tory Burch Lip Color (originally they launched one shade).

The Tory Burch Lip Color ($32) is a lipstick collection with shade names inspired by Tory’s personal history including family nicknames. The signature shade of the collection, Pas du Tout, comes from a phrase often said by her father Buddy and translates roughly as “she loves me, she loves me not!”

These lipsticks are subtly scented like the Tory Burch Fragrance including notes of cassis, grapefruit and mandarin. They are formulated with a pigment rich color payoff and provide moisture and color in a single swipe.

Shades:

  • Call Me
  • Tomboy
  • Knock on Wood
  • Pas du Tout
  • Pretty Baby
  • Ramble On Rose
  • Saucy
  • Scoundrel
  • Son Of A Gun
  • Swizzle
  • Smack Dab

I’m excited about this launch and I wish they’d do more of the pot blush shades soon because I have the one shade but haven’t hard the hear to use it since hauling it a few months ago!

The entire Tory Burch Beauty Capsule Collection as well as the new selection of Tory Burch Lipsticks is available now at bloomingdales.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. When I think of fragrance lipsticks I instantly think of them as being drying. Which they were mint flavored instead, spend $50 on a lipstick and the mint would help you save money on gum. These colors look glossy and pretty, I like the coral shade shown above and also just saw Son of a Gun in this month’s in style magazine, looks like a bronzy nude.

Ooooo…. those are really pretty. Gonna have to scout the web for swatches… Unless you’re gonna buy them all and swatch them? 😀 Beautiful packaging!!!

These have been available at Nordstrom for a few months now. I wasn’t impressed – really sheer, dupeable colors. :/ Better for my wallet, I guess!

oh no 🙁 I know the original color launched at nordies didn’t see the others!

Unless these are different, I think the lipstick packaging is totally crappy – cheap plastic case that won’t stay shut. Love the color I got but for this cost, the packaging needs to be way better!

everything seems to be getting more expensive lately. I guess $50 lipsticks will become the “new normal” even tho my budget will probably never allow me to ever get anything at this level, even for a special treat.
