Urban Decay Perversion False Lashes for a Dramatic Look!

Urban Decay Perversion False Lashes

Urban Decay Perversion False Lashes ($15) mane an appearance for Fall in three drama worthy designs. Apparently “Perversion” is going to way that Naked did! Naked started out life as a palette but quickly gained an entire collection of products sporting its name and it seems like that’s where Perversion is going too as we have not only Perversion Eyeliner but also Perversion Lashes now, Perversion Mascara, etc…!

I can’t say I mind as Perversion is one of thee blackest eyeliners I’ve had the pleasure of using…!

The new Urban Decay Perversion False Lashes Collection are available in three designs entitled Glitter Drip, Trap, and Bait. Each set contains two lashes each and a bottle of lash glue.

Each lash is handmade with cruelty-free synthetic hair. These come in a clear plastic tray so you can remove lashes and place them back into the case for storage. The glue is probably one of the things that stood out the most for me. Granted the lashes are gorgeous but Urban Decay did a fab job with the glue’s formula. This has a precise thin brush for applying onto lashes and dries down to a nice tacky finish. I’ve used Duo Eyelash Adhesive in the past and it’s been a very messy experience. Urban Decay’s formula dries down to an invisible finish and creates tackiness but doesn’t leave lashes with a gooey, messy bunch of glue. I think the glue also helps the lashes apply easier as well!

I’m not a great expert at lash application but I’ll definitely post a pick of Trap once I get application down. This design is pretty killer as it adds a ton of length and drama but it’s subtle enough to wear for daily looks!

The entire Urban Decay Perversion False Lash Collection is available now at urbandecay.com.

Do you wear false lashes in your daily looks or reserve them for night’s out?

I am horrible at applying falsies lol. I never have the patience so accents are all i can muster, but i do like Bait. I have my eye on their accents as well for their next fnf

All the falsies I see are too long for me. I want a tutorial that teaches me how to trim the length of lashes (not the width of the band) without losing the shape. I’m not an idiot. I can figure out how to cut the band of the eyelashes on my own. I just need to either find a more subtle pair or figure out how to trim the length so they’ll fit my eyes.

I had the original incarnation of Urban Decay lashes and… They sucked. 🙁 Painfully stiff band that refused to be broken in no matter what I did to it to break it in (and it LITERALLY broke so one area was extremely weak and would bend awkwardly when trying to “shape” them to my eye), the inner corner just refused to stay down no matter how much glue I would put on the corner, and actually would poke me in the eye. Yes, they did fit my eye just fine without trimming the band, but that inner corner was rather sharp. The glue they sent with them, was awful–it was TOO sticky. It sealed the tube shut! While trying to clean DUO glue off the band, the threads that hold the “hairs” together came off and I wasn’t being rough/hard on them. I’m not a lash newb, I know how to apply lashes and use them. These? These were god awful. I read a review for these new Perversion lashes and they STILL suck from what I read, because she recounted every issue I had with the stupid things but lucky her, she actually got them to STAY on. Urban Decay, just stop with false lashes! You’re terrible at it!
