Baviphat Urban Dollkiss I Love CC Cream

Baviphat Urban Dollkiss I Love CC Cream is a color changing, adapting CC Cream inspired by Snow White (see the cute apple packaging and the box that reads “Present an apple…To all the Girls Dreaming to be the Snow White” yes it really says “the Snow White” haha!).

Baviphat Urban Dollkiss I Love CC Cream is available in three different finishes but I choose the color changing formula since I have good experiences with these CC creams based on my success with Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream and more recently the Hope Girl CC Cream formula.

As you know from my prior post on the Baviphat Urban Dollkiss I Love Tint Gloss I picked up this CC Cream purely for the cute apple packaging! It’s just too sweet. The CC Cream is housed in a bright orange apple with a golden pump stem very cute but…

Not terribly practical! I had a very difficult time getting this to pump out a small amount and each time I used it I ended up with enough CC Cream to use on a small village. The pump is tricky so use a very light hand and press down slowly to release a tiny amount versus a big old goop of it.

The formula is pretty standard and much like most white based CC Creams although a little thicker and creamier from ones I’ve personally tried. It starts out white but it as you apply little capsules of color burst and transform the CC Cream tinting it a cooler creamy beige. Apparently the formula is whitening, anti-aging, and sports an SPF 43 although I typically apply SPF prior to any of my base products none the less. The color is a sheerer and skin enhancing in my experience. As with most CC Creams it corrects but doesn’t necessarily offer coverage. It’s great if you already have fairly good skin but want something to even out your complexion while brightening up and easing dullness. It gives a lovely flawless, natural finish which can be worn alone or under your favorite BB Cream or foundation products. I really liked it. It has a light satin finish with a wear of about five hours on my drier skin. I have dullness and slightly uneven skin tone and it made my skin look brighter and healthier and it was perfect, natural coverage without the need for me to follow up with anything else!

Unlike the Hope Girl CC Cream this is a bit more pigmented so it could potentially look a little too pasty or perhaps chalky on certain skin tones. In this case, following up with a foundation or BB Cream that does match your tone will ease this but still allow the brightening and skin evening finish to show through when a lighter layer of your own base product is applied!

The packaging is a bit tricky but the formula is most excellent! If you’re looking for a great color correcting CC Cream you’re sure to love Baviphat Urban Dollkiss I Love CC Cream!

I got it from my favorite ebay.com seller F2Plus1.

Hi Muse! I’m thinking of trying a CC cream since I feel that most BB cream are too oily and most foundations are too thick. I have pretty good skin – a little bit of acne scars and redness around the cheek area. Do you recommend this or the Tony Moly Luminous one? Which one do you like more?

    Thank you

if you have a bit of redness/acne scarring I’d go with this because it’s a bit more pigmented than the Tony Moly version Jessica!

I’m totally bummed that this formula is all wrong for me because the bottle is the cutest thing ever!
