E.L.F. Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin

E.L.F. Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Brush Collection ($9.99) is yet another E.L.F. Disney collaboration launching for Halloween 2014 at Walgreens and drugstore.com that features this brush set as well as a new beauty book palette.

Take a look!

E.L.F. Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Brush Collection

The E.L.F. Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Brush Collection is much like the recently released E.L.F. Snow White The Fairest of Them All Brush Collection as it contains the same brushes and same style brush holder.

I just purchased this as a Disney fan because I already own and reviewed both the Snow White Brush Set and the Little Mermaid Crystal Brush Set and both really disappointed me.

You get a Powder, Eyeshadow, Foundation, and Blush Brush all with semi-matte black handles featuring a thorn chain with a rose print around the base. You also get a case which can either be used to travel with the brushes or you can use it as a handy stand up brush holder. It has a small rope which can be tightened to convert the case into a brush stand but I wouldn’t recommend doing this because you have the fold the case and it feels like it might snap or break quickly if you’re doing this often.

I find the brush quality just awful. They split, shed, and they have scratchy bristles that makes them truly unusable for me! I’m even scared to wash them for fear they’ll break apart.

For collector’s reasons, sure I’d say the E.L.F. Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Brush Collection is adorable. But for pratical daily makeup application? No. Unfortunately not. I hope E.L.F. considers a little quality control on these sets in the future.

I purchased mine at Walgreens and I believe it is exclusively available to Walgreens and drugstore.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
