Ettusais Rose Cheek Color Review & Swatches

Ettusais Rose Cheek Color is a blush that released with the Ettusais Princess Red Collection some months ago. It is a limited edition product but no worries many shops such as Gooddealer still have it available!

The collection was inspired by Snow White’s pale white creamy skin with a pink of rosy color and truly the Ettusais Rose Cheek Color embodies that really pretty punch of red on cheeks!

I actually own several Ettusais Cheek Color Blush shades but quite a few disappointed me because they are a tad chalky. However, I think they did a fairly awesome job with the Rose Cheek Color formula!

At a glance I was worried it would be frosty with very little color pay off but it’s just the opposite! It’s designed with a shimmery pale pink board and within the center is a light pink and dusky rose shaped design. I was worried the paler pink would dominate and sheer out the prettier pink and rose featured in the palette but that wasn’t the case at all! The rose design actually packs a TON of pigment! It gives cheeks a burst of reddish dusky rose that’s quite pretty. I liked it so much that I regret not picking up a back of the shade! It also happens to wear very strong at eight hours without showing any signs of fading!

As you can see it comes in a very small rounded compact so a brush doesn’t fit well into it. But it does have a puffy sponge that’s attached to the bottom which you can dab into the pot and apply onto the apples of your cheeks. But be careful during application because this method can give you clown-y cheeks!

Overall, Ettusais Rose Cheek Color is a delightfully little rosy pink blush that’s a must have in my opinion! What a shame this is limited edition! But knowing Ettusais they’ll end up releasing something even more exciting for Winter 2014/2015.
