Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips is one of two limited edition lipstick shades that launched with the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Collection.
You might have guessed the Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips was inspired by Belle from Beauty in the Beast. Although I must say the purple doesn’t really have be thinking of Belle….! I always pictured Belle with more of a brownish nude shade on her lips.
What do you think?
Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips is a dark pinkish purple which at a glance isn’t something I’d normally wear for myself but actually ends up working quite well thanks to the glossiness of the formula!
I packaging on this is very lightweight and kinda reminds me of a little girl’s makeup but it’s cute none the less. The plastic barrel is decorated with a golden design on a pink background with a white base!

I love this formula. Sometimes Etude House Lipsticks can prove drying but this is light, glossy, and applies easily with a nice slickness on lips. It has a very light texture that’s quite wearable and comfortable with a shiny finish and absolutely no taste or flavor. It feels very moist on my lips and has a three hour wear before fading and leaving a subtle stain behind. The color is outstanding as it doesn’t migrate or feather and looks quite good on my skin tone which shocked me as I don’t look great in purples!
I kinda wish I got a back up of this color!
Although it doesn’t remind me of Belle in the least I’d still say that the Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips is a delightful texture, formula, and shade!
I got mine from F2Plus on ebay.com.
