Etude House Belle Rose Cheek Blusher Review & Swatches

Etude House Belle Rose Cheek Blusher2

The Etude House Belle Rose Cheek Blusher released in two shade selections with the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Collection recently. This collection is inspired by Disney princesses and as you probably guessed the Belle they are referring to is from Beauty and the Beast.

These are actually selling really well in Korea at the moment and are available for a limited time so if you want them I wouldn’t hesitate on a purchase.

I’ve been a little burned with Etude House blush lately! The new Cushion Blush was a big fail for me and I really didn’t love the sheerness of the Minnie Mouse Blush from several months ago. So I was a bit cautious during my purchase of the Etude House Belle Rose Cheek Blusher and only selected a single shade. It was pretty smart as I’m hearing the pink shade, which I did not purchase, is quite sheer and chalky!

The outer packaging of the blush is shaped like a little book! As we know Belle loves to read so this is quite fitting. The plastic compact is quite tiny and flimsy which gives it a child’s makeup feel but none the less it is quite cute. Unfortunately the compact lacks a mirror or a puff of any kind for application. The blush inside is stunning! It reminds me of Innisfree Mineral Rose Marbling Blusher as it is shaped in a similar rose design as that product!

I choose the Coral Shine Shade (#2) which is a very pretty pinky peach shade with a hint of a glow-y iridescent finish. The blush formula is quite dense and a bit dry but it still manages to blend out easily on cheeks without being chalky or clinging to drier areas. It did surprise me as it swatches quite sheer but it applies with a nice glow-y pop which unfortunately isn’t easy to say in my images! It wears for about six hours and shows considerably fading at hour six on my drier skin.

Overall, Etude House Belle Rose Cheek Blusher is quite adorable! It’s not the best blush I’ve ever tried but it isn’t the worst either and it adds a very nice touch of glow-y color to my cheeks. Plus add in the fact it’s Disney related and well, it’s kinda hard to resist yes?

I got mine from E-bay shop F2Plus1.

I purchased this item.
