Missha Misa Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher 3

Many of you know I’m a huge Clarins Flash Balm fan girl so of course, Missha Misa Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher intrigued me! Missha Misa Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher is actually a product you use after your primary skincare, in the AM, and prior to your makeup. So in a sense, it’s a lot like the way I use Clarins Flash Balm!

The general idea of the product is to create a base for makeup but also to sooth and treat tired looking skin and revitalize it with Ginseng extract. So it not only adds moisture but also keeps skin look bright and happy. Apparently it contains herbal oriental medication…but a quick look at the ingredients doesn’t reveal much (Ginseng extract, Squalene, Honey, Albiflora Root Extract, Prunus Mume Flower Extract, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Leaf Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Angelica Keiskei Leaf/Stem Extract).

Let’s take a look!

I LOVE this stuff. I imagine different skin types will see different results using it but for my own duller, drier skin I adore it. I have dry skin that’s kinda lackluster looking without makeup and this is an ideal way to brighten it up and add extra moisture in a simple, easy step.

It comes housed in a gorgeous bottle as you can see with a pump that product flows easily through. I typically apply my morning skincare after I get out of the shower and proceed to dress. After that, prior to starting my makeup, I dot a small amount of this on my cheeks, eyes, nose, and chin. I give my face a gentle massage with it, it absorbs easily and doesn’t leave me shiny or greasy. It adds a very small amount of much needed moisture but isn’t heavy feeling on my drier skin! The creamy consistency is easy to work with and it wears well under makeup. It smooths the way for my foundation or BB Cream and allows for it to apply easily. I wouldn’t say it brightens and I’m not sure if its repairing wrinkles. I will say the extra moisture it provides is one of the key reasons my skin looks and feels so much nicer after the initial application and hey, if it’s also preventing wrinkles, I’ll be happy as a clam.

If you have drier skin you already know the key to radiant skin is getting as much moisture injected it into it as possible. Products like Clarins Flash Balm and Missha Misa Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher are an excellent way to prep your skin so your foundation products look good (the extra moisture allows your foundation to not cling to drier areas and provides a smooth, hydrating base for it to adhere to). The extra moisture these products provide also add more of a glow to your skin! It’s kinda like giving your skin a drink of cool water!

This does seem to have a hint of mica in it as the pale creamy color reflects an iresdescent pink but this doesn’t translate to heavy shimmer on your face. It merely adds a little bit of a glow overall. It also has a fresh fragrance that’s quite subtle to my nose but deserves mentioning for the sensitive folks!

Visibly, Missha Misa Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher is a product that makes my skin look incredible and for that it’s priceless. If you have duller skin I’d highly recommend checking it out (or my beloved Clarins Flash Balm). I think you’ll love how it eases the way for your foundation while giving your skin a nice healthy boost!

It’s actually on sale now at www.misshaus.com!

I also have dry skin and I’ve been using the Misa Geumsul eye cream…it’s incredibly moisturizing and thick. It plumps up my fine lines and I notice a difference when I don’t use it!
