About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Thanks for posting this. Sometimes I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since that horrible, horrible day.

it feels like yesterday and every year it arrives it felt like it just happened 🙁

Muse, that is also the New York skyline that I remember and will likely always think of when the phrase ‘New York’ is said. I can’t get my head around the new skyline, nice as it is. Have no memory of the New York skyline without the twin towers. Can’t believe that it was 13 years ago, still feels so recent. Heart still aches on September 11 every year.

that’s the one I know and love too nikole. sigh. Feels like yesterday. My heart aches for all those people and their families. Sure the towers were beautiful and will be missed but the misery comes from so so so many families missing their loved one year after year after year 🙁 so sad. Just makes me tear up!

Hi Muse: thank you for remembering. I live in NY, born and raised. 911 was without a doubt the most difficult experience of my life. My greatest fear is that Americans outside the tri-state area have put this tragedy behind them and moved on. There is no moving on for any New York. Thank you for taking the time to acknowledging this anniversary.

ditto michelle, I’m a native too! It really was truly an awful experience 🙁 Oh I don’t so dear. I think everyone remembers well the horrors of 9/11 be they living in Manhattan or outside of it. I think the country on a whole has made the tragedy their own it was that bad 🙁
